I get the impression that you harbor a dislike for Ukrainians..if I'm mistaken..please do not get offended.

I know that Poland and Ukraine had problems years ago but I thought that by now, the wounds would have been healed. Maybe not with the older generation who lived through the difficulties but with the younger generation.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with this statement. Black people can live anywhere they
want, just as white people or whatever race can live anywhere. The thing is the income of families..be it white, black, latino..income keeps certain people in certain areas. If income is low, they tend to live in the same area..if income is high they also tend to live

in the same area..no matter the race. In the area that I live in the new homes sales start at about $500,000, (We don't own such a home) but the people who live here are

from India, Pakistan, Mexico, Korea, Blacks and Whites.

My daughter and her family live about 30 miles away from me, in a new subdivision. Last summer they had a subdivision party to get to know each other and for the children to

get to know each other. I was at the party and I must say that everyone was fantastic
and it looked like The United Nation, every color and nationality.

Recipe for Orange Roughy

Mix together the following..
little oil
little butter
crushed garlic
salt
pepper
Dry Italian seasoning
lemon juice
Pour over the fish and sprinkle with bread crumbs

bake at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour..baking time depends on how thick the fillets are
and how many you are baking. The amount of the ingredients also depends on how
many you are making.

So far I haven't come up with any obstacles but I just started asking my family questions. My Mom has provided a lot of info but unfortunately she doesn't remember a lot of facts..just memories. For instance today I asked what the name of the ship was

that we came to America. She remembers the date July 1, 1950 into New York but
not the name of the ship. My uncle is trying to help me..but he came on a different ship
and different time.

I would like to find more info about my Dad's side of the family but unfortunately, his
older brother has died and the younger brother is very sick..and I don't want to bother him with questions at this time.

LOL. I can't wait to find info on one of my very distant relatives...he is in jail at this time
and I don't know how we are related.

I taught my girls to respect everyone, no matter what color/nationality/religion. In life
we meet good and bad people no matter what they look like. My younger daughter
has a Master's Degree in Early Education, she loves teaching and has chosen to teach in
a diversified school to make a difference as she puts it. She is teaching her sons to
accept everyone for who they are. If parents teach negativity, the child will think that
it's O.K. to be that way. Children learn by example!

I can't believe this topic is still ongoing. There are good and bad people no matter what
nationality or color they are.

Many affluent Blacks move from predominantly black areas because they want a better
life for themselves and their families. I have no problem living next to a black family or
any other non white family. We are all created equal..but some turn out bad and others
are good.

In the area that I live in we have a very low crime rate, the last crime that was commited here was a murder of a women..she was hispanic..delivered pizzas, had a nice

family and the man who killed her was WHITE..he killed her for 50 dollars that she had.

I really don't like to judge people..but I can't understand why birth control wasn't used
after the first abortion. I can understand one mistake and the pain of making such a drastic decision but to be so irresponsible to get pregnant so soon afterwards is something I can't understand. I also can't understand why wait so long to have an

abortion unless this person thought that if she waited long enough the father would
give in and change his mind about having a child...and to marry this guy after all you
went though is beyond me. I hope you have a happy marriage and don't go though life

I was pregnant when I got married 37 yrs ago..I was 20 yrs old and my hubby was 23.
I have a lot of friends/family that have had similiar situations and they have stood by
their daughters and helped raise the babies. I'm sorry that you didn't have family that
