News / another proof that Poland is a confessional state [18]

1. I'm afraid, its not firbiden. Priest can make a secular course and teach 'secular' ethic.
2. I'm afraid, every student will be forced to go or to catholicism lessons teached by catholic priests, or for 'secular ethic' lessons, teached mostly by catholic priests... of course they will be secular...*

*but only when pigs start fly

News / another proof that Poland is a confessional state [18]

Kids need or religion or ethic classes.

do they?

Don't worry about the teachers.

i'm worry about the teachers. i worry because i know, that in most cases- it will be a catholic priests 'learning' them how to pray, asking what was on a speaking on mass and telling that 'atheists and Jews and .......... * are bad and will go to hell' - and they will do it for a texpayers money; with no control (about their learning program) from school (becouse, of course, they are independent from school; what will be teached depends only from catholic bishops)

* please place here anyone who is not a catholic

News / another proof that Poland is a confessional state [18]

in short:

until today, religion lessons (lege: catholicism lessons) an ethic were optional- if you wish, you could send your children for one or for both (if the school provide ethic lessons) or for none of them.

starting from 2009, one of them will be mandatory; considering, that there is a great shortages in ethic teachers, the choice will be obvious. not to mention, that even now, catholicism lessons are in 2x 45 minutes system (per week), and ethic /if its in school/ : only 1 45minutes lesson per week. and, of course- headteacher doesn't have to provide ethic lessons in school; he may consider that when there is >7 students wanting that.

eh, just in case- thats another reason why poles are emigrating from Poland into more civilised countries :~

News / Dealing with constant insults against Polish [323]

Bringing a sword to a tank fight is the reason for the poles being a consecutively conquered people.

thats the best example why sometimes is better to be quiet... it is usually better to know topic /about this 'cavalry vs tanks battle'/ instead of making yourselfe a fool... (well, you are good in that btw)... could you give me a *real* example /i.e: date, place/ of such 'battle'? episode from propagandas movies (german and soviets) doesn't count...

Life / What do Polish children call Santa Claus? [12]

well...
i dont think that people from Pyrlandia (Poznan) can give gifts on both days- they are know from their avarice.

btw, there is a joke: what are the connections between Poznan and Scotland?
- Poznan existed before Scotland was known to humanity; the elders of poznan's tribe offended by wastefulness of some tribesmen deliberated and, after it, they exiled them into Scotland

;p

Life / What do Polish children call Santa Claus? [12]

well... i'll try to explain it
Gwiazdor (from gwiazda = star, stella) - its the name of SC (santa claus ;p) used mostly in Wielkopolska and in Kaszuby - its basically similar to SC, it has a bag with gifts and a birch - and, he punish or rewards kids. his name originated from the name of 'gwiazda' - it's the most common artifact of carollers - they still sometimes are walking from house-to-house, and, for small amount of money they can give a gift to children etc (of course, they receive money and gifts from parents of those children).

Dziadek Mróz - "Дед Мороз", "Father Frost" - its also similar to SC, but he has different clothes.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ded_Moroz is a quite reliable source :>.

if you have any other question, dont hesitate to ask them :>

///////// edit
ah, i'd forgot to add: in poland, there is a feast called 'Mikołajki" (from Mikołaj= Nicholaus) - its on 6th of december. On this day kids get gifts from Mikołaj/Gwiazdor.

but this is confusing me a bit (despite i'm from poland, so it shouldnt)- sometimes children get gifts on 6th, sometimes on christas ave (Wielkanoc)- well... i've no idea why :/

News / Helena Wolinska dead [90]

well....
shame on britain- because she (i.e. hw) wasnt expelled.

@scorpio:
no, its not a good news. she shouldnt die as 'free' human- she should be arrested and jailed.
btw, ".... innocent Polish Catholics" - so, if she would murder, tortur and imprisoning Polish Protestants or Polish Orthodox or Polish Atheists etc- would it do a difference?

Love / Why do Polish women love to disrespect their fathers and their brothers? [78]

brit: I'm using Internet for a long time... but this is one of the most stupid posts I've read (well, at least in this year).

Do Polish women hate their own men so much that they are so desperate to humiliate their own Brothers?

no comment

do not believe the simplistic arguments that just because these races dont live in Poland thay are exotic to these girls

no, of course not

The real reason is deeper than that.

so feel free to tell us about it. or, better, not

I feel sorry for Polish men

you shouldn't

because other races judge them on how unable they are to keep hold of thier own women

yeah. the best way to keep them are: cage and chains. 100% of effectiveness

and my favourite one:

We live n a society which demands racial tolerance but Polish women seem to have no loyalty to their own race and have a poor reputation because of it!!

wow. we have to be tolerant *but* we cannot 'mix' with other 'races' :? could you explain it to me? because my little childish mind isn't able to understand that.

crap, i've been writing it to long :/
