Patty, thanks trying to find the name of local cementary there in jazwiny so i can get pictures of family tomb stones the name is Tabor and I would like to get in touch of church adm. office who speak english if it is possible.

According to jastrzabka stara parish marriage index Maria (Gonka) married jan Tabor in 1/20/1867 and Franciszka Gonka who was a former spouse to Stanislaw Tabor .And i know there is Gonka's in nebraska usa that married into my family tree over here around Duncan and columbus area.

Are you sure the name is not spelled gonka? Reason being my family name has been changed several times sence they left poland in 1870's for nebraska and i am related to the gonka's my polish name is tabor and now it's tober.

Won't to thank you again for your help. I did start a family tree and found out that tobur is not the correct spelling it is tabor and boy did i hit the jack pot in poland they are from the jastrzabka area in poland.

thank you, for your help tobur is not a common name and have tried sound indexs and ended with nothing my great great grand father spelled tobur-to-tobor-to- tober dont know if it the name has been shorten from maybe toburaskie? but again thanks and i will try your idea. Saw your name is liss if so we maybe related both boys married into liss family.

I have been working on my family tree. My great great grand dad antoni tobur and his wife sophia (paluch) immigrate to the us in 1878 along with 2 sons john and adam. Antoni born in 1833 sofia born in 1834 married in 1857 parents born in poland (aus) came to duncan nebraska usa i have been told they came from either tarnow or mokre poland not sure tobur is polish spelling this was on antoni's grave change to tober now also his marker says To spoexywa Hmart 5,alaja 1905 Latmajae 65 not sure what this says i need help.
