Does your job deal with this kind of thing?
Are we talking about a large portion of Polish people there or just a minority of tricksters that will always abuse any system?

JSA and so on is only available if the person claiming has had 12 months continuous NI and tax payments.

Was it ever two years?

Correct me if I am wrong (as if I need to ask:) but can anyone from an E.U. state go to England and collect benefits?

Have you recently changed your law, as I know many Irish and Polish people in England, living and working and none of them collect any benifits.

Wasn't there a thing where you had to work and pay taxes for two years or something?

About the real estate I live here in Krakow.

I also live in Poland and I am in the process of moving back to Krakow.

I am Polish citizen as well as US. I saw flat prices go from 2000 pln per square meter in 2004 to 10000 pln.

Well a bit less of a jump but okay, the prices have gone up very much.

That increase in price did not come from increase in cost. Price is a supply and demand thing not a cost thing.

This you know from your developer friends?
You are now saying that building costs, material, land prices, labour costs have not risen.
Simply not true.

This has no relation to reality of the average wage rate in the city.

This is probably the only honest point you have to make.

I know only rich developers. None I know are poor. I talk to my friends who are accountants and they say developers make the most profit of all their clients.

So your jealous of other people's success, okay, your a language teacher and you should have got in to the building business when it was good.

If you have the courage of your convictions buy some Krakow property at 15000pln a square meter and prove it.

The avergae price is well below 15000 and you should know it but you don't proving your fictisious claims.

I see a difference between "falling in love" and "being in love".

'Falling in love' is wild passion, full of surprises, suspense and anticipation it is more like temporary insanity and can involve paranoia, insane jealousy and general stupid behavior.

And can burn out pretty quick.

'Being in Love' is not so crazy and lasts much longer.
Of course there are times of 'falling in love again' involved but it is far more stable.
Without most of the paranoia and general stupid craziness.
It is the knowledge that that person is there for you and you for them.
Okay so I am not making it sound very exciting but it is.

They provide a service but act like you work for them or that they, and they alone, are some kind of god.

The ones that I find the scariest are the extreme pro-lifers who kill doctors.

They try to justifies murder by saying that they are saving all these unborn children.
They are sick people and really do need psychiatric help.

Personally, I think we are far too judgmental on these issues. I don't believe I have the right to tell a 14 year old rape victim what she can or cannot do. I would make a recommendation that she goes for therapy and that her, along with her adult family, make the choice that is best for her.
