But Dazza is right, second hand cars are a lot more expensive than in the UK, for example, and dont expect them to have cleaned and polished it before you buy.
And petrol is not that far off UK prices either

Are you trying to use the data on the Home Office website to refute some peoples' claim that crime in England has risen since the arrival of the Polish?
Whilst the Daily Mail is not a paper worthy of much notice, unless you form your letter considerably better than your first post above, they will not only ignore you but you will probably reinforce their negative stereotypes of the Polish.

As I've said before I am just to make deeper analise of this phenomen and it is very good argument against some newspapers in the UK.

Er... actually the above post says that the UK probably does integrate immigrants better than than say Italy or Spain but that its fair to say that the majority of the UK's immigrants are legal whee perhaps the opposite is true for the other two.

I'm inclined to agree but I doubt stats would prove anything one way or the other. I imagine the majority of people coming into Italy or Spain are illegal and no one has the foggiest idea who or how many have actually entered the countries.

I wonder if this is really the case. I have friends from Spain and Italy whole assure me that immigration is much more of a issue there than it is in the UK.

As Kowalski says, there's often not a lot to choose from in the way of food in small Polish villages. If you do come across a small village that has more than just a local shop then the chances are it'll be a pizza place or something along those lines. Experience also suggests that just as you walk in, they will have a large take-away order and wont be able to serve you for at least an hour.

Thats the one spiritus. Its a vicious circle. The owners of the building do nothing to entice the punters inside so those business that are there eventually close through lack of custom. Then there's even less to bring people in. The place is a ghost town as you say, but they still want the highest rents.
It's getting to be the same for the whole of Sopot centre. A couple of key bars and restaurants attract what punters there are and the rest close. And they are building a huge new development there which will need some serious marketing if it is to make occupants any money out of season
