Food / Cost of Nescafe coffee in Poland. [49]
I'm a coffee roaster living in Poland and sell my beans wholesale and retail. I roast fresh green coffee for each order and am happy to mail bags to anyone who would like, or we can meet in Krakow. I have a 12 Kilo Probat roaster that allows me to roast a variety of single origin beans, which I import, to their potential. I love coffee and can talk about it forever. Food / Decent Coffee to Go in Poland... [15]
I remember vividly when Tim Horton died on the QEW. He was a great hockey player, one that we emulated as children. Now for coffee, I think to go coffee would do better in Poland if more cars had automatic transmission. I live in Krakow and don't get into my automatic transmission car without a coffee. Even this morning I was driving with a sloshing cup because I forgot my to go cup; but I did not forget my coffee.

I like Kelleran Coffee. It's roasted in Poland from a variety of origins. I'm obviously self promoting, but I know our coffee is good. We are a small specialty coffee roasting business. And we can grind it to suit your brew method.

My coffee venture is going well. I really love roasting and cupping delicious coffee, and most everyone I meet in the coffee business is great. There are a lot of businesses in Poland, many of which are new. Don't get discouraged, just do it if you think you can make money. Poland needs better coffee and coffee shops. Good luck.

Yes, it's a long shot of espresso. Essentially over brewing the espresso to dilute the strength.

Americano is made from an espresso drink and Turkish can be made simply with hot water and very finely ground coffee. This method of coffee making is very popular in Poland, although the newer generation prefers not to have the thick sludge left in the bottom of their cups. Both Americano and Turkish can be great is made with good, freshly roasted coffee. I'm drinking a tasty cup made from a French Press now. (made from very coarse ground coffee)
