Travel / Krakow hotels [29]

Hi. Ibis is also a part of Accor Group and wasn't so expensive some three yrs ago. Maybe you can give some price idea what you can (or are willing to pay) so that I can recommend you.

It's in range of Ibis quality / services, see:

100 USD is approximately 280 PLN, and 150 is slightly above 400.

I have checked that for you on Ibis Krakow Centrum online, and here is what I found:

(Fri 22 wasn't available) so 29 June, stay 3 nights,

regular price: 299 PLN per night

of course, you can get better prices or higher depends on how much luxury you want to have and the location of the Hotel.

400 PLN /night is what you have to pay for 4stars class like Demel (10 minutes from the Main Square)

Try to google: grand hotel, holiday inn, orient, best western piast, classic, elektor, fortuna, fortuna bis, francuski orbis, kazimierz, logos, maltanski, novotel krakow bronowice, pod roza, pttk wyspianski, warsawski, wit stwosz, astoria, campanile.

wish you a nice stay!

for the obvious reason......COST!!

I would say there are a lot of other reasons why the opensource is better. Much, much, much better.

And, yes, I'm linux user.

polishmaster, in my opinion, for those having tasted open source, there is no dilemma. It's like hell and heaven comparison. Well documented, good community (size depends of popularity however, but still you'll find enough smart geeks able and willing to help you-no matter what distro you choose) cross platforms, etc etc.

But I can agree with you (and can understand other people): closed/proprietary source is something most are familiar with. Learning them to use open source, oh yes, it could cost a lot of. Mental energy, as a first.
