They might not smile as much but most are polite. Lot of things to see in Krakow, the Wawel Castle, Sukiennice where you can buy souvenirs and stuff, museums, depending what interests you. Watch out for pick-pocketers on crowded buses or tramways, specially if they know you're a foreighner. My sister in-law who's an American and her mother were traveling with me on a crowded bus in Warsaw and when they came out, her camera was missing.
