UK, Ireland / Polish teachers/speaking groups in London? [6]

Howdy!

Does anyone know the best way to find a good Polish teacher in London? I've tried Gumtree but had no luck. Or groups where you can practice speaking with others? I'm at a conversational level in Polish and want to improve so any help would be much appreciated!

Agreed London does rock! So does Poland - knee-deep snow, homemade wodka...though my memories of it are all tied in with a girl..(cue violins)... no I'm not crying, it's just been raining on my face! ;)

Some slightly off-topic useless information: if you play 'The Sims' in Polish, you can get the option of having 'Bara bara w łóźku' once you've had a few dates...

I see these two words quite a lot in Polish sentences - żeby / żebyś - sorry if the spelling is wrong! What exactly do they mean and how/where do you use them?

Language / 'Could/would' in Polish [12]

Hello

I've been coming across 'mógłbym' and 'byłoby' and other scary words like this lately. Are they used for 'would' and 'could'? If not, it would be great if someone could explain how to construct those phrases in Polish...

I'm learning Polish and am looking for lists of Polish vocab that I can steadily learn on my own over time.

Does anyone know any good websites that have these, or can you recommend any reference books that aren't dictionaries?
