Life / Local Poles taking advantage of foreigners living in Poland [235]

i dunno so much that this issue is confined only to poland, i find that this is the same in alot of places where you are not a local/native, for instance when i first moved to dublin from scotland, i was charged several different taxi fares for similar journeys, needless to say that i quickly got my bearings in the city..... i remember one instance where i was coming from and going back to the airport the same day, was charged 30e first time and only 20e the second for the same trip. the driver of the second taxi himself told me i had been ripped off...

the fact is, wherever in the world you go, your bound to meet an arsehole.....

Love / Dating a Polish girl - need some advice [45]

My girl came here with her Bf and they were here together for two years, same situation, he loved her, her feelings long gone, but by all accounts he was a b*****d to her..... but she done it and we havent looked back, we are having a ball!

If she wants to leave him for you she will, if its whats she really wants, the hesitation is natural though, even more so if its a her first love and all that blah, but you have to be bold and give her the ultimatum, until you do, she will keep on as is.....

its about how long your happy to play scond fiddle..........

Very true...

And the reason for this?? well its because the more northern you go the closer to Scotland you get, hence you get more of a Celtic personality and breed as apposed to a sassenach trait...........

tongue in cheek........

Just a bit of coloured material? Not to the people that care about their country.

and what about the systematic burning of the Irish tricolour every year on Halloween when every loyalist housing scheme in N.Ireland burn bonfires for their celebrations.....

UK, Ireland / My fellow brits here - are "traitors" by not dating English girls? [103]

ha ha ha ha....... belter....

look English girls are by and large....classless, and this behaviour they are showing you, is both jealous and classless.... be a man and do whats right for you, I'm sure the LADS will understand your situation...(esp if you have a hot Eastern European hanging off yer arm)..

Many of those in any country, or you simply had a long streak of bad luck. At times similar people seem to attract each other. Could this be it?

It was a long time ago, indeed, but I found English girls to be desirable. One of them even more so than others. Oh, and was she ever a looker!

Fact is buddy, since i have been going abroad, ive been seeing english girls...... doing their stuff, working the crowd... im just a glasgow bhoy telling as is... and givin the chap my advice, in my experience... some may not like it. dosent make it any more wrong..

and anyhows, English men will tell you the same thing bout Scottish girls...

thats why i got myself a hot pole... im tellin ye lads, its the future.....

thats why i got myself a hot pole... im tellin ye lads, its the future.....

if she's your future because she's hot then.. well I wish you two good luck anyway

thanks... we are due to have a baby in 5 months time, and contrary to your beliefs, we are rock solid bud....

so whats is it that is exactly wrong in thinking my girl is fantastically hot??

by that statement i made it was in reference to IMO the better class in polish girls as apposed to that of my country Scotland and the rest of the UK.

but that went right over your head, didnt it?

absolutely nothing! its nice to read how much you love her. plus if she's that hot, the baby will look like a little angel :). my bloke is Scottish too, but not having any babies just yet :P. Scottish girls are fine from what i've seen. is Jennifer Ellison Scottish??

thanks justyisa, for your kind words, and your right if our wean is anything like its mammy he/she will be a wee knockout!!!

my words seem to have been slightly miss construed, i was not meaning to down all British women, and was only giving the poster my opinion based on my

experience..... that seemed to have irked some people, but as a Scottish man, i would always have a tongue firmly in cheek comment about English girls..... but even territorial rivalry and banter seems to be outlawed as well these days...

If you got yourself a good protestant lady, you could at least say "the future's bright... the future's orange"

I'll get me coat...

Ahem Hmmmm.....

My Last girl was of that persuasion and i was with her for 7 years, London, believe me there is nothing Bright about Protestant girls........

but then i could say i wouldn't be as narrow minded to allow religion to come into such decisions..... but that's another argument...

Have you ever stopped to think, that the reason people are on this site for the very reason that they have a polish partner, therefore when they are giving their opinions on a subject that they use their experiences of being with a polish person etc etc, or regarding the influx of Polish people into the cities and towns that they live.......

its an absolute no brainer that people are going to reflect on their own situations when trying to advise another poster or to give an opinion......

what of that is it that you cant seem to comprehend?

Im mean how do you stand on Poland's current Foreign Policy???

well that would be folly of me as i prefer to be educated on a subject before i give my tuppence worth, but politics are a subject i enjoy, however im afraid this is restricted to the politics of Scotland, but i am learning at a rapid pace albeit from books, ( lots of propaganda) for instance i did learn that my girls city of szczecin ( formerly stettin) was the first to fall to the soviets.....

sorry im not up to your standards yet Shelley but then we arnt all prefect are we....

gotta start somewhere tho eh....

UK, Ireland / Are the Poles in England hated? [450]

Come to Scotland, or go to Ireland, we are welcoming people, sure we have a element of very narrow minded, draconian thinking, downright horrible people, but show me a country on this planet that doesn't.....

on the plus side, in Scotland we have some of the most breathtaking sights the world has ever seen, we have good kind honest people, ,everyday working class people that can make you laugh until your sides hurt , unconscious comedians, the best kind!

we have a people who on the whole are liberal, open minded, with a live and let live mentality.

if you come here and integrate with your community and embrace your surroundings and the people around you, you will be welcomed with wide opened arms!!

same generally goes with Ireland, we are decent skins...

good luck with your move if you decide to take it!!

News / Organized Crime: Polish Gang Is Making Profitable Business Of Robberies [60]

British people have been for years jumping in the backs of their vans and cars, taking ferries to France and Belgium and stocking up on beer wine and fags, bringing it home and selling it on, this is not a new phenomenon...... the fact that its Polish people this time makes not a jot of difference!!!

As regards to the child benefit being paid to a couple or mother who is not resident in that country, ponder this

im Scottish my girl Polish, we met and have been living in ireland, she fell for a baby and we took the decision to move back to Scotland, for many reasons...

she will be nearly 6 months gone when we get back to Scotland so wont be able to take a new job straight away, figures yeah?

now the interesting part, as she does no have a national insurance number yet, and has never paid any tax in Scotland, she will not be entitled to any monies (maternity), and will have to be dependant on my income in Scotland. Fair enough i hear you say....

however as she has lived in Ireland for 3 years and been working and paying tax here she is entitled to maternity payment from the Irish government even though she will be living in Scotland and the baby will be born in Scotland.

now i do not to badly as wages are concerned, but up until now i just had to roof over my head and clothe and feed myself, now i will have 3 mouths to feed when i get back to Scotland.

so we will exercise our rights and claim the money we are entitled to!

So is this Fair enough or not?

glasgow steve, your eastern european girlfriend should have paid at least 3 years tax in scotland before she spread her legs and started having babies.

And why would that be ? considering as yet she has never even been on Scottish soil....

but then i learned very fast that you are a fud... and nothing i can say hasnt already been said where you are concerned, so i will leave it at that.

It's nothing to do with insecurities, it's just they wouldn't touch a white girl after she's slept with an asian / black guy - ie. they feel that the girl is sullied a bit of lepar ect..... Not all English are a libbral as you think, in fact there are a lot of people who don't agree with mixed relationships.

And then there is the BNP........
