In perfect condition many of them are worth... 4zł.
The are design on some of these is fantastic!

Normal ? In practice there's no unempoyment in UK, If he doesn't work It means that he doesn't want to work.
John is English I guess and probably unemployed too and this is pretty much normal to complain about foreigners being responsible for his misery.

around 80% don't have a good command of English and are only able to do low paid work which doesn't really contribute very much to the Economy as a whole.

You are wrong. The service was reduced to only 9 months, so they need more people and they take now those born in late 80's - post baby boom (wyż demograficzny) so there is fewer, that's why now they take everyone, who has both legs and arms and isn't a student.
Also nowadays not that many boys are taken to the army
