But a foreigner coming to Poland won't be so happy to live in a shared flat. I've never understood why, to be honest - all it does is force them to end up paying a ridiculous amount for a 1 roomed flat through English speaking agents.

it's called freedom and one domain.. can't really explain it to you.. you'd have to experience it to appreciate it. but thank you for the explanations.. makes sense and i was thinking that poles were over communal living.. but i guess not.

Independent? That's just what you think you are. In reality it's quite the opposite. You only need to lose your main import and export trading partners, and you're toast, my friend. And this is not only true for Poland, but for almost every country in this world.

i disagree as i believe most (at least the 1st tier nations) are very capable of true independence.

I think you misunderstood his answer. A country can trade without being over run with immigrants...Look at China!

but that is actually what i meant anyway.. PL should do as Polish people please.. not any other way.. PL, especially because of its rich history, should ascertain itself and be more weary of dependencies.

Sorry, that's crap!! If Poles can go to the UK and Ireland especially, you have to allow the same in reverse. Nationalist BS!

crap, i don't think so.. last time i checked PL was independent of UK or F or D or anybody else in EU.. Nationalistic BS? you may want to tell that to your own countrymen before you spout that bull at me.

so, everyone is living on credit? na raty doesn't explain anything as that means that it's ono payments.. when your outgoing expenses are more then your income.. something doesn't add up which seems to be the norm in PL..
