Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

Boo-hoo. You gonna feel guilty for everyone on the planet?

And what does any of this have to do with homos? Are gays oppressed, forced to work in sweatshops?

there are rich people and there are poor people

Yeah. In every society under every economic system. And even your precious Socialist places recieve goods from the workers in the places you mention -many of whom are glad to have the work, btw.

The biggest players in the Capitalist system work hard to secure their position through fair means of foul.

See, that’s the Socialist’s view of Capitalism which insists that there must be someone oppressed for others to succeed. Always a victims and a villain. And it is wrong. More than just wrong, it is dishonest of the Socialists to attempt to frame Capitalism in this way. But then Socialism requires such lying to succeed.

But what does any of this have to do with rumphumpers indoctrinating school children?

The poor in the U.S. have tv's and sometimes automobiles. That's middle class in most of the world.

"America: Where our 'poor' are fat!"

I don't want to hear about how "poor" someone is until I see some ribs showing.

No Randy, not laziness. Are you saying that Poles have less money because they are lazy? No, we're talking about the capitalist system which is based on selfishness and greed. A system that appeals to the basest instincts in people to feather their own nest and let others go hungry. I people appreciate the problems other societies and other parts of their own society encounter, they will become better people because of it, and yes, the world will become a better place.

Libs always make excuses for the lazy, making them out as some sort of victims. You can’t attribute poverty to capitalism. What about all the poverty in non-capitalistic societies? At least under Capism “greed” as you call it, everyone has a fighting chance for a piece of the greed pie.

I bet you wouldn't object if two beautiful lesbians asked you back to their place to watch? Such double standards exist where men are concerned!

No double standard. See, in your hypothetical I was asked, not forced to comply. Besides, it is unlikely as I don’t much see sexual contact as a spectator sport.

Poverty? And what is the cause of that?

Laziness.

I have my views, I have my beliefs - leave me fucking alone.

Right. And leave my kids alone.

This "I'm all right Jack" attitude is the cause of most orf the problems in the world.

No it is not. Forcing one's beliefs on others is.

Life / Price of beer in Poland [90]

Wow, beer is expensive down under!

is this in the us?

Yes, in the US. I guess the average for a pint of domestic at a local pub would be $3-$3.50, more in the city. Local micro brews are as expensive or more than imports.

Can get a 30 pack case of 12oz. domestic for $25.

News / Poland to make cuts amid gloomy economic forecasts [30]

arent these figures just kind of arbritary and massaged down by various gov't schemes of either finding ways of pushing ppl off lists or onto other lists?

Yes, we use a very complicated and convoluted calculation to determine the number of unemployed people. It involves comparing the average number of the past month with the previous month and somehow they arrive at an estimate. But people who have exhausted their unemployment benefits no longer get counted. It compares the working rolls so the lazy, terminally unemployed don’t get counted. I don’t know that it includes illegals but it certainly could. I don’t fully understand it and I’m not sure many people do. Seems to me it is needlessly and perhaps intentionally confusing. But that's the number we use.

Who is intolerant? I haven’t seen anyone call for killing gays or denying them employment. Simply opposing indoctrinating school children with the Gay Agenda is not “intolerant” by any Liberal stretch. That is a lie.

Life / Price of beer in Poland [90]

Some places sneak you with less than a pint. They serve in glasses which look like traditional pints but the measurement is really 14 oz. rather than 16. That’s one less pull! Sneaky jerks.

Life / Price of beer in Poland [90]

Around $1.60 I think.

$1.60 is really cheap. Over here you can pay anywhere from $2.50 to $5 or more for a pint and up from there for imports at a swanky place. I once paid $8 for a pint!

It’s all the damn taxes that drive up the cost.

Still as a belgian I do miss decent beers here.

As a Belgian I’m guessing your beer tastes will be hard to please anywhere.
Is Polish beer bitter? I hate heavy, hoppy, bitter, dark beer. It gives me heartburn after a few dozen.

Some gays really do think this way.

The gays don't even believe this themselves. They use it as an insult in an effort to silence critics. It is dishonest.

Work / Jobs in Krakow (for mathematicians?) [3]

let’s just say people do stupid things when they fall in love.

We sure do. But following your love back to Poland isn’t one of them. Think of it as an added layer to love’s sweet adventure.

I don't care if someone is gay. Just keep that sh!t in the bedroom where it belongs and out of the classroom. Stop trying to make it seem normal to kids.

Love / Chatting up Polish girls in the street. [60]

I have found the ones I have encountered in the US are a bit guarded at first. But I think this is common of many foreigners in a new land. It is good to be cautious with strangers, particularly for girls.

History / Roman Dmowski- Polish Adolf Hitler? [219]

you are the one who speaks of hating Jews...I have never said such a thing, nor anyone else...We just discuss things, openly.

Sure. Saying things like their children should be murdered for where they live isn't hatred. Why, that's just discussing things openly. Lol... Maybe you better have a talk with your fellow Nazi Sokcrates.

homophobes are scared - that's why they have "phobe" on the end of it :) What are they scared of?

Yes, the whole "homophobe" thing is the farce. They use it as implication that any critics are themselves gay. It's petty and childish and, frankly, rather gay.
