Australia / Australian met a Polish girl - visa issues [16]

well because poland is eu i thought something could be done....

That's the mistake most people make, they merely have the right to work, thats it. Plus the fact there have been a lot of sham marriages to non EU members has made us tighten the rules.

he hehe :P

And what?

Australia / Australian met a Polish girl - visa issues [16]

You will have to go back to Aus to apply for a spousal visa, WHV are simply for that, you can only work 12 months out of the 2 years and there also might be problems because you gf is Polish and not a British citizen or a perm resident in the UK, she will also have to provide financial details that she can actually support you, since you will be her dependent..

Be careful what kind of information you are submitting, they're really strict on the rules of WHV these days.

Over staying isnt a good idea since they'll just deport you if you are found not to have the correct docs and NO company will employ you without the right documents since they are liable for a £10,000 fine these days.

Sorry I couldnt be more positive, but thats the way it is here these days.

You might be better applying for a working visa, but its points based now so more difficult than before, again you will have to do this outside of the country.

The parade was in Manchester which is in the UK, so I was a bit surprised to see the Polish national flag - aparently they want to abolish the ban on gay marriage in Poland ;0)

You can put it on a page and give the link :)

I'll try and re-size it at some point..

News / The Polish Economy and its future [101]

Driving costs me £250 a month

My bus pass costs me £55 ;0)

Besides who wants to get boxed in like cattle on a smelly European street car or bus?

I had a head ache the other night when I got off the bus because the person next to me for half of my journey smelt so bad! He wasn't European!

Polonia / Poles experience of india [30]

And ofcourse, the true English people were defeated by the Romans whose decendants still rule and constitute the majority of todays England.

Wrong, they didnt really mix with the Britons as for the tribal wars, trust me there were plenty of us left after the Roman empire was falling and they scurred back to their homelands. You forgot about the raiders and the French? All Europeans, so who cares.

As for your comments about Indians thinking England is there home...LOL you know what thought did!

You're too funny, you show your ignorance about our history.

Polonia / Poles experience of india [30]

?( because the prospects in poland are bad)

Really, is that why Indians are moving there to study and to set up business, oh and to find nice Polish wives who can keep them in the country? Poland also has social health care, does India? Please dont even tar Poland with the same brush as India, you lot cant get out of there quick enough and "settle" somewhere else.

Polish people work and live in most countries for a limited period of time, they have no wish to stay, they love their own country.

USA, Canada / Polish/American food (they feed people in the US with toxins) [80]

7% points Shel?

Okay, maybe not "miles", inches ;0) Still if you read the links you'll see we're doing something in the UK.

we're behind computers all day now for the most part.

Hey, my ass aint wobblin and I spend all day in front a computer! Its no excuse, people have had sedentary jobs for years, its about diet and greedy gluttens who dont know when they've had their fill!

On another note, I think fatties who fly should have their luggage allowance taken into consideration, if someone weighing 20st can sit in a seat next to me, why the feck if Im 11 lighter should they be able to take the same allowance as me, I should be able to take more!

So I guess there are quite a few European fatties as well? Feel free to share the love around.

There most certainly are, but % wise we have a long way to go to catch up with the USA, this is not an insult its a fact.

British aren't that far behind us at about 23% of pop obesity.

We are taking steps, my brother is working with NHS on a project they have and also ad campaigns

News / Microsoft Poland whitens a black face in its advert [130]

says it all, doesn't it?

Not really, marketing is about target audiences, since in Poland 99% of the male population is white, why shouldnt they protray a white man, rather than a black man?

Im sure in African countries they protray black men in ad campaigns and not white men - is that racist?

Have you ever seen a Japanese ad with a black man in it?

Love / Are Polish girls charity workers? [132]

You are as racist as it gets lady! And this makes you into a big hypocrite criticizing my satire, doesn't it?!

Why am I hypocrite? What has my sticking up for Polish females got to do with the fact I dont like 3rd world immigrants on my island?

Admin should delete all your pathetic posts, a pair of middle aged men crying on about women because they cant get a look-in, lol..

'A bit'? haha Who are you kissing up to?

No one.

Btw, a person either has standards or they don't.

Strange country, new people, Im sure even the best looking, smart women have lowered their usual standards in strange surroundings.

Wrong

Hmm, you sure sound it, getting over the hill and a ever so slightly bitter.

wrong again

Even you said yourself, you rarly get laid!

go out and get laid, they're plenty of desperate men out there...

Why go out when its at home ;0)

So the charity in question is Help the Aged then?

Nah, Mr Pie, more like, try and understand why some bitter middle aged man who is surrounded by beautiful women can even get a sniff let alone a shag!

UK, Ireland / What are Polish Peoples Views of a Re-United Ireland [80]

Personally, I'd use the term British to mean the mainland and surrounding islands (not sure how it sits with Manx) but I'd refer to Belfast etc as NI and people from there as Northern Irish regardless of religion/politics). I'd doubtless get an earful from an Ulsterman (or woman).

You worded it a lot better than me, Ive been ill, touch of woman flu, you'll have to forgive me this once.

glad you liked it.

I loved it...it really really did make me laugh, which isnt good at the moment because Ive got a barking cough!

Really? That would not surprise me....

Why? you and your bum chum Alex seem to be surprised about everything. Ive been spending a bit of time reading both your posts and to be honest, Alex seems like another bitter middle aged man on this forum...hmmm...He probably hasnt managed to get any in all the years he's been in Poland either!

but then...

I, know, what I said and I stand by it.

But

Not trying to be confrontational here but are you saying YOU consider "British" to include NI, whereas others don't?

Technically at present they are. But no one does consider people in Belfast British, they're Irish, friends of mine have been to Belfast and have said they're going to Ireland, simple as that really.

What?

Sorry about that RN, it was a mistake!

Bloody foreigners, coming over, speaking Gaelic and milking the pictish benefit system for all it had!

I just nearly wet myself...PMSL, seriously

I just take anything you say seriously woman.

Thats nice to know.

In one post you're sticking up for Polish women, in the next you're putting them down big time. Be consistent...

The worst Ive said is that they drop their standards a bit when they come to the UK, its new territory, who can blame them...Im sure after a few months here, they soon realise there is better out there!
