News / An enquiry into emigration from Poland [7]

I'm curious as to why there are so many Polish people coming into the country?

I heard that they like William Wallace very much... yawn...

It depends where. In the main market in Karków It can be even 10PLN but in normal pubs usually 5-6PLN for 0,5l.

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

but I reckon if it was not for homophobes perhaps they wouldn't feel the need to hold a pride.

Come on... Real "homophobia" haven't really existed in western countries since decades and ironically they scream the laudest for "tolerance" in "progressive" countries like Holland or Sweden.

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

seriously, most of the weird stuff is for tourists

I know that average Dutch guy don't use to wave his sausage on the street but If Holland really was "one of the most right wing christian countries" or at least someting close to that then they wouldn't have leagl euthanasia, homo marriages, drugs etc.

UK, Ireland / Polish Childrens contribution in education in Slough - the positives [7]

In Poland teachers seem to teach the most difficult, outdated way to answer a problem. There are simple ways to answer some questions.

Generally the whole education system in Poland is rather forcing to work hard than actually teaching things.

Travel / Bydgoszcz - Poland's Great Secret [30]

No idea. I was in Bydgoszcz only once years ago but there are pubs opened until late at night usually even in very small towns, so there can't be problems with such things in Bydgoszcz.
