Love / Polish men vs German men: Who is hotter? [513]

Another article just for Funsies:

How to Find a Man in Europe and Leave Him There

Germans are an uptight breed and they have a rule for every occasion. When there aren't any rules to follow, they're happy to make up a few. If you're surrounded by Germans, you're likely to hear the phrase, "Noooo, it is not possible," repeated several times. Many things are impossible in Germany. It is impossible to change plans after they've been made, to make funny jokes, to smile at a stranger, to help an old lady across the street, to prop your feet on an empty seat in the train, and a variety of random things you normally wouldn't think twice about doing.

Sometimes Germans make these "rules" just to argue with you. A German man thinks arguing is fun. Just argue back for a while and before you know it you'll have him laughing (maybe) and buying you a beer for being such a good sport.

Germans are generally non-reacting.They never praise you etc

That's not true at all!
I think Germans are quite passionate. They just don't show what is going on inside of them on the surface. It's more of a matter of "still waters run deep"! They are reserved and controlled...that is not the same thing as unfeeling!

However, I have to ask: Have you ever seen Germans watching their team at a fussball match?
They are passionate! Whoa!

Hmmm....what about this little guy?

Bratski, put that away! :)

Don't make me bring back the "head" that I used for an avatar before! hehe

What about a pic of Jogi? In that nice crisp white shirt showing off his tan, brooding in the stands mysteriously....

Bratski,
I think it's time to change your avatar.
Every time I see that gorgeous pic of Michael, it immediately reminds me of his wedding pics with Simone. It just kills some of my fun somehow! *sniffs* Maybe a pic of one of the team that is still "legally single" would be nice?

German men are THE BEST! Aside from the blonde hair, blue eyes, an adorable accent and a tendency to have brains, they are straight shooters and don't play games, which may take some getting used to. But, if you don't want honesty (cause they will give it to you even if it hurts) better run the other way!

Tips for the Date

Remember that a ten minute grace period won't fare too well with your German date, so be on time to get off to a good start. We advise against asking any questions about your appearance because you may get harsh answers. In fact, you may get harsh answers without asking any questions. If he dislikes the clothes you're wearing, he'll tell you. If he thinks you look fat, he'll tell you. The same brutal honesty goes for questions directed at him. If you ask how he's doing, be prepared for an extensive discussion about his gastrointestinal problems the night before.

*giggles*

This is FUN reading, if you are interested. Just keep your hands off my Ossi, will ya!

Thanks Southern! I was going to start a thread but you saved me the trouble! :)

But the topic should have been:
Who has the hottest men-Germany, Poland, or Russia?

News / Should Poland send volunteers to Georgia ? [100]

Eduard Kokoity, South Ossetia's leader, said more than 1,400 civilians had died as a result of the combat beginning in sporadic firefights on Aug. 1, and shifting to full-blown warfare early on Thursday.

No one wants to see civilians caught in the crossfire.
Not ever.

Obviously USA don't give a damn about other countries,

I think you have that backwards.
Other countries don't give a damn for the US except how she can help them!

Ossetians had been shelling Georgian villages for days before Georgians finally moved in.

This has been building up for years. The area is peppered with towns full of Gerogians mixed in with Ossetians. It's the capital Tskhinvali that is mainly Ossetian. They have two separate governments trying to run things.

They would have to split the land down the middle and move everyone over to one side of the border to separate the ethnic groups (which I understand have a lot of intermarriages). People aren't going to want to do that unless someone else forces them to draw up a pact. That is a job for the UN.

Russia might roll in with some tanks and insist on a ceasefire, but how long will that hold when the underlying problem remains unchanged?

The UN needs to address this.....the message needs to come from everyone, not just the US!

Why doesn't the UN recognize South Ossetia as independent from Georgia? Wouldn't that solve a lot of the problem?

I thought that is inbuilt into every Pole?

Greggie just wants the US to liberate them for him!

Its what the world expects of the Americans, to liberate the down trodden peoples from their oppressors.

But the thanks is very short lived......

People of a country/ethnic group always see the world through the lens of their own interests. That's human nature. No one is objective about the US. Sometimes the US does the wrong thing for the right reason, and sometimes we get it all wrong. No govt is perfect, and you sure as hell can't make everyone happy or predict all the twists and turns that develop in a situation.

They will not blame US as long as it does not intervene. They accuse US of direct actions like bombing etc,not of indirect actions like inspiring insurgents.

They will blame the US, even if it is agreed upon by NATO.

Just ask Crow!

But Wally, aren't you tired of everyone calling for the US to help when it is convenient for them, and then watch spend the rest of their time throwing mud at us?

Let them sort out their own messes...

And if they kill each other in a blood bath and blame us for it, it's not as if we would be surprised!

If the US did send troops, then you would just bash the US and say it is none of their business, and call it neocons taking over the world!

People!
Make up your damn minds already!

News / America: Take your missile base and shove it! [116]

ROTFL

Who is America to say that it's interests in the world are more important than another's?????

"We" all haven't said that, there are lots of Ammies here and we don't all agree either. Just like in Poland, everyone has a different viewpoint!

The truth is that our government has been in the pockets of international bankers such as the Rockerfellers, Wharburgs, Rothchilds and the Morgans since 1913 when the federal reserve act was passed into law 2 days before christmas while the majority of congress (who would have denied the bill) where at home spending time with their families. Also, the act was penned by BANKERS, not lawmakers.

Seems like you watched "Zeitgeist" also......
some believe it, some think it is only a conspiracy theory.

It's a Russian toilet

And after you're done doing your business, you can use the rings for your gymnastics routine to stay in shape.

BTW, do you have to break the glass to get to the thing that looks like a gas mask?

LOL

I'm just razzing CK. It's kinda of a hobby of mine. Everyone knows that Gazprom uses their oil as a way to blackmail other countries....."be nice to us, or no oil for you!" hehe

(reminds me of the soup nazi from Seinfeld! hehe)

And somewhere at a distance you can observe the generouse knight in the shining armours on white horse - Russia!

Does that mean you are ready to give us all your oil so we don't have to look for it somewhere else?

CK, how generous of you! Is there something you would like in return?

:)
