Real Estate / Looking to buy property in Tri City, pref Gdansk. Advice please. [52]

Looked at that property, looks great.Is it a total rebuild. ie new roof wiring damp course etc

permits stipulate that its a renovation project rather than a complete rebuild... but yes, new roof, wiring, damp etc etc... the permits will also allow for some resizing of the property and it has been suggested that the 2 could be joined [in some way] to form a single larger property

there is also the foundations of another building on the land - this allows for a new build of similar size to be built... the land can be divided and sold as seperate lots, although this will take time

Would a property in that position be safe to leave without getting broken into all the time?

cant say for sure one way or the other but it wasnt an issue that was one of my concerns

the price listed on gumtree is grossly inflated - the initial negotiations i entered into would probably allow for considerable renovation [and maybe some change] for the price

But man I have got so mad at Polish public transport more than once sometimes it defies logic.

i get the train mainly in poland... occassionally a bus... never been too pissed off but get wound up queuing endlessly for tickets!

ding ding... move along the bus please...

bus lurches... taste the difference rolls between my feet... this must be my lucky day...!

yes

said it here before... and not wanting to generalise, of course... but polish women and infidelity have for many years been synonimous... ive confronted friends about it on a number of occassions over the years when trying to come to terms with it and the explination seems to be that during communist times there wasnt a great deal to do but drink wodka and fcuk... some habits are hard to give up apparently...

actually... what i think i have said here before is that what i, as a british man, deem socially acceptable behaviour for someone in a relationship seems to be very different from what i have witnessed and experienced in poland...

this is why you wont see me posting about my wonderful polish girlfriend on here... dont have one and dont want one...

he did it cos the vast majority of americans are gullible idiots... like the vast majority of brits... its just that we are not quite as gung ho as you...

But Kruk takes the tram.

on rare occassions i take the tram in poland... but only because i dont speak polish well enough to understand what the vast majority are saying... public transport in the uk.... forget it...

That's kind of ignorant my friend. We don't want the war anymore than anyone else does. The problem here lies in the fact that the American public is given a bad name due to our preisdent. This is not what the people of this land feel at all. We find it as stupid/pointless/ridiculous as the rest of the planet does.

of course...

but the american people seemed quite happy to support the war at the time... and oooh... was there an air of revenge after 9/11...

there has been an issue with america for years,,, its just that now your finally beginning to notice...

yeah... i would like to believe that shes a woman who cares so much about his feelings that she couldnt bare to leave him because of the hurt it would cause... but she cheated on him so thats obviously a load of crock...

One united States gallon equals 3.78541 liters

thanks peter... so in the uk we pay about double for our petrol what america pays... so why are our boys getting killed...?
