My girlfriend is trying to call the VISA appointment phone number over and over but only receives a busy signal or it rings and rings with no answer.

Thats because the State department is in transition to outsource all calls to Bombay;)

Ya, I noticed when these guys come over here and start working, Then right away they have to buy a new car, motorcycle or big ticket item, instead of saving.

Is it because they have to show off or because they never had anything?

A friend of mine works for Accenture near Manchester airport and they have just made all the secretaries redundant and all the support now comes from Bombay

An outsourcing company outsourced itself?

I hate, for example: Dell computers, I had to call tech support and they linked me to some fuk in bombay. I could barley understand a word he was saying??

I finally got a so called English speaking manager and he didnt jack **** about the computer!

How that photo proves that the people in the photo are "struggling for work" is beyond me. More likely that they are struggling to get to work,

As for China junk, well, if people are buying....

Some disposable stuff maybe, dont buy any tools from them thats for sure.

Its almost impossible to go into a store and not find everything made in China,

Travel / Alcohol on trains in Poland [40]

you can if you don't make trouble

Theres nothing better than a booze train or beer bus to a football game:)

make trouble and still get away with it on the trains

Thats half the fun..lol

Drinking of alcohol is strictly illegal on trains in Poland

Thats too bad, although we cant drink on public trains we can do it on private rail system.

They will throw you off if you get too rowdy but usually nobody cares.

They never will because 1/2 the Poles never return home when there supposed too, you know how they are about breaking rules, any kind of rule as long as they think theyre getting away with something.

Limeys dont need Visas because the come here visit, then return properly on time:)

Mostly poor people eat at McDonalds in America, have you ever walked into one and seen all the homeless hanging out in there?

I dont go to Mcdonalds but if my only 2 choices were a Cheeseburger or Pierogis drenched with Bacon grease and topped with sour cream.

I found the Strawski Piwo at Wallys market as soon as I walked into the liquor dept.
They had cases stacked on the floor and in the cooler along side the Okocim

So I picked myself up a 12er and I am now re- testing out the flavor:)

Its tastes similar to Okocim but doesnt have that bitter taste to it:)

That sounds strange, they have to sell alot of Okocim here in Chicago?

You can purchase Stawski Premium Lager at any Binny's Locations in the Chicagoland area

Binny`s is like the Walmart of booze they have everything:)
I havent seen it at the store by my house yet?

(And yes, I'm going to drink my "vintage" Okocim anyway. It still tastes just fine to me!)

not right now.. there is no shortage of anything in the usa except for jobs

Nepotism is the name of the game here latley, Unless you have some connections froget about getting a good paying job, especially being a foreigner.

You can have 100 college degrees, Theyre going to hire an American first just like they would in Poland.

Go to the UK , Arent you part of the EU Kaśka? I hear England has tons of room left...LOL
