Language / Capital Letters at the start of Polish words. [26]

I've definately been told to capitalise the first letter of certain pronouns (Ty, Twój, etc).

yes but only if those people are someone you know and are showing respect. this could also apply to grandma etcc.. Babcia...

god (Bóg) is always capitalized.

a country yes, but not if it's "of" that country.. Poland, polish. Polska, polskie..

the rest is the same as english, for the most part. do you have any specific examples we need to discuss?

USA, Canada / BILL CLINTON - what do Poles think about him? [25]

i'm still waiting for the link to the law rockhead.

prove the deaths caused by shrubco? lol.. well ~ 4000 US soldiers and countless iraqis and afghanis.

I may not agree with you about the reason for your statement, but I agree with you, all the same....
John P.

lol.. they are worthless for other reasons too.

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

i think thats overplayed.

overplayed? lol.. sure, sure..

me cocking my .40

not the same as 12ga pump man.

pointing that lazer

silent but as if not more effective..

a large dog is the best deterrent in da hood.

allows militias

that is not true although BOTH statements are in amendment #2. the statement isn't inclusive though. it is one and the other but not together. the comma in the makes it so.

USA, Canada / BILL CLINTON - what do Poles think about him? [25]

he did lie under oath thus impeachment. shrubco should be prosecuted even more so for all his lies and the deaths he caused. unfortunately polosi and gang won't do it. they are all worthless.

gun racks were in all the trucks

yeah, i miss mine.. it makes no sense to have it locked up when going hunting.. on the back glass was a perfect spot.

Most states, in fact, won't even let you hunt with one, because the weapon is considered underpowered for killing DEER....

so is a 22 but boy will it bring a deer down. it all depends on the shooter anyway. :)

It is exactly the same in Nevada and Michigan and all the other states as far as I know.

one more time.. not in my state. no such direct law exist.

shotgun would be better

99% of the time the sounds of one being cocked will do the trick anyway. :D

USA, Canada / Several shot at Northern Illinois University, USA [38]

yeah, tell that to the mothers of the kids with bullet shattered bodies!

i would because i believe strongly in my freedoms. just because some guys was whack doesn't mean i should lose my rights. there is already too much of that in the USA.

UK, Ireland / I'm pregnant with my Polish boyfriend. Visa question. [25]

Why should she? being born in a country does not entitle you to a passport...

not in the UK perhaps.. it does in the US as of right now. that may change someday as the way things are, it only contributes to the immigration issues that are present in america.

USA, Canada / Several shot at Northern Illinois University, USA [38]

the gunman is dead.

and there is no need for illegalization of guns.. this as all other violence is not the caused by guns but by people.. i am thinking we should just make 'dumb' illegal, maybe that'll help.

Dice

human density is rather high in PL and in the regions that it's not the nature is rough.. not too much overpopulation at all.

mason: handcannons you have no chace for.. very slim on the long guns... with the attitude you show here... you're chances for any firearms are 0.

Food / First time eating Polish food [30]

not pierogi, not kielbasa except you'll give up the plastic wrapped crap for good. bigos is the only possiblity out of the three but if you like sour kraut then you'll be ok. bigos should also have mushrooms in it so if you;re allergic to those find some without them.

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

A militia could quite easily overthrow our government, as long as it had the side of the people. With widespread discontent and the right to bear arms and form militias, it's quite obvious that the people would overthrow any government.

hopefully you;re not fooling yourself that this could/would actually happen, right?

Guns Kill,

oh please.

people who are undergoing mental / psychiatric treatment are allowed to carry arms

not allowed but obviously missed in regards to the Vtech shooter.

well to be honest, he makes plenty of promises and hasn't once outlined his plan or where he will get the money for it when he does.

and his voting record is very, very left.

I'm long since over voting for the candidate who looks the best on television.

there isn't much of a choice this time around either.

its simple less guns equals less murders.

that is aburd. please.

The gun laws are not strict enough ask any 16 year old in L.A. where to get a gun he'll tell ya. Its an archaic law from a different time John P. time to evolve. Read about Ghandi.

and another new law somehow change all this? who are you kidding?

Is there no such law in USA?

maybe in some states but in general, no. that really makes no sense.. who check that one's guns are in that cabinet and seperate from ammunition?

Life / Polish attitudes towards drinking alcohol [72]

"MJ" makes a pudding out of one's brain faster than any serious damage made by alcohol can be seen.

lol.. you must have some pudding up there.. now run along and look into some realities about mj.. it's not nearly as unhealthy as all the other drugs. it's not even as bad as cigarettes...

and rm, what the hell do you have against drinking? this and freemasonry bs will make life very hard in PL for you. :D

Jak polewają to pij

lol.. words of wisdom girl. :D :D

besides "MJ" is often just the first step leading to much more danger drugs.

please quit hitting that rock man.. it isn't healthy at all.

or paranoid and suspicious ideas, and can progress to psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.

where the heck do you all come from.. sheesh.

Though cannabis users do seem to be affected more with various mental conditions,

what? please learn first.

walking around like a zombie.

and another.. see just above.

and by american standards all poles would be alcoholics.. the alcohol culture is way different here.. the leagal age of 21y/o doesn't help either... i have never met anybody that didn't drink before they turned 21. heck, i slowed down about that time. :D

and, american beers are kind of sucky.. there are a few micros that are decent but there is heck of a variety so if yee seek, yee shall find.

na zdrowie everyone. :D

Law / Do I have Polish citizenship? [12]

a CV (in Polish) + 2 photos of you in profile so that your right ear shows + the fee and then wait for them to issue you the passport.

a CV? you gotta be kidding.. what does that have to do with wheather one qualifies for citizenship?

and they are way anal about the pictures so make sure you have them snapped by a polish photographer who does them a lot.

Life / A Polish Priest lying about freemasons [57]

Oh and the brotherly love applies to brothers only aka "freemasons".

and you don't see the bunk of that?

the other thing is.. you're bound to have major problems in poland being this pushy about Freemasonry.. they aren't all that well liked here either.. there is just too much fishy stuff floating about that is related to the masons.

Life / A Polish Priest lying about freemasons [57]

Still if you seat in the US and don't even speak Polish according to your profile then your possibilities to observe situation in Poland is very limited. Personally I don't belong to apologists of everything what is going on in Poland, this is even opposite, so I do observe situation over here. However is you say that Poland don't improved much culturally, I'm curious what is still missing here according to your observation? (in comparison the high "cultural standards" of which other nation? )

did you actually read my profile?? maybe you don't speak polish.. hmmm anyway.. there are a few things about pl culture i can't stand.. almost all other EU nations as well as USA seem to be missing that one bad trait.. others must be lessened as they aren't that prominent. and before you ask me what the one bad thing is.. i alluded to it on this page.

things seem to be getting better in PL though and i am hoping that everything will be peachy with the next gernerations growing up.

USA, Canada / The 2nd Amendment (USA), the right to own guns [261]

btw. most likely more then half of those rednecks served in the armed forces at one point or another. :)

I don't think there's been any nation that has drastically changed gun laws, or at least there hasn't been any study done on a nation in transition from one policy to the other.

of course there have been major gun laws changes... australia and canada.. and studies have been done.. but there is no country that has allowed more guns.. in both the above cases, hand guns were outlawed and some others restricted. in both instances the gun deaths decreased dramatically.. but there seems to be an upword swing in gun deaths in canada, mainly by illegal gang bangers.
