Feedback / Creation of "Sticky" threads? [19]

The same situation is with creating threads in the appropriate section. You originally created this thread in the Poland Vacations and Travel section. Just like some people you're referring to ;).

Admin...not quite...sorta because I wanted a Low Cost Airline "sticky" thread created in the reelvant section...and where else but the travel section....!!!!!

If someone does a new topic...on....."Wanted hot, salivating, blonde goddess with an artificial leg ...then it should only appear in the relevant section...not listed on the latest topics over view section........to be more specific!

I might suggest that the looking for a "Polish chic" type topics...........are NEVER successful.....why give it extra broadband width?

Feedback / Creation of "Sticky" threads? [19]

Maybe.....but not often enough........and really they shouldn't be put on as a new thread anyways...if Polish girls are looking for a guy, then they know were to look!

Perhaps there are better egs......!!

True.......plk....but if I see another new thread with......"western jerk seeks gorgeous hot Polish female"....!!

These shouldnt appear each time as a new thread...just lump them together...am sure there are other egs........see the cheap flight thread recently......?!

Feedback / Creation of "Sticky" threads? [19]

Admin/fellow posters, would it be useful to have this per section; so that constantly debated issues or threads always searched for or indeed those that need constant up dating?

Can I therefore suggest one for low cost carriers to keep everyone up to speed!

UK, Ireland / Currency - better to exchange it in Poland or in the UK? [6]

Guys...it appears the zloty is gaining strength......by the day......current best rate I can get is 4.99zl per £.....was 5.5zl in may...and the 2006 rate was around 5.65zl!

Anyone know what the rates are locally in Poland or the Kantors, ie is it better to change there than in UK?

I got this off another thread......

nbp.pl/Kursy/KursyC.html

Is this an an exchange list that it up-dated daily, I take its the national bank of Poland or some sort, do they give best rates, and do they charge commission?

Thanks!

PS If it is 5.16 to the £..then its quite a bit better than the 4.99 I can get in the UK!!!!

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

Britain wasn't fighting the war alone,

True, eventually.......but for a long period they stood alone..................they were the beacon of hope for the remainder of Europe....for all their flaws, arrogance and off handedness...if GB had folded....my German would be flawless now.......and don't forget it!!!!

The USA only came into it when they saw their main market about to be engulfed.....plus had GB by the oh-so short and curlys........American help..?....not really.....they patently allowed GB to prostitute itself in order to save itself......some friend!

Feedback / Forum suggestion: What about Polonia - Ireland? [65]

But according to Wikipedia there are only about 63K of Poles living in Ireland. Compared to other countries, that's not that many. If we wanted to list all countries the page would be very long....

Admin

So wot...Wikipedia...is always correct?

Our small county has approx 1600 Polish people.....if we extrapolate that to the whole of the Island.......there are around....163,000........!!!

Compared to the UK......and per head of population, Ireland proportionally, has welcomed 20 times that the UK has.........so you are not comparing like with like!

I think a Polonia-Ireland section is both warranted......and fair.

Love / I reckon I've met a right plonker here - your thoughts please [44]

Jambo...plz dont stereotype all the gals.......!

PS Condom wrappers.....= some got shagged ( assuming then hes not gay or bi?)........sin?....eeemmm....no, how do you know hadn't a mate stay with his g/f?

Blood stained duvet........she was having her period (or hes a haemophiliac, cut himself shaving...:)...)...not pleasant...but a huge sin?

You didn't fancy his lying gittish ways..........its ok..combined with the addiction confession, a well known way to entice someone into a relationship......true!

Lesson to be learnt............?....................life is for living.....carpe diem.... I'd say!

UK, Ireland / "As the Poles Get Richer, Fewer Seek British Jobs" - article [10]

It may well take a little time to equalize out.......the wages are still very low in Poland.....doubtless the will be a critical point were working and living in Poland outweighs going abroad.

But, when the basic/minimum wage is 5,75zl ( £1.20)an hour ( correct me on this one guys!), and most jobs with a little skill in GB are paying 6/7/8/9 an hour.

When the graduate employees gain more confidence and have better language skills, and they can translate their degrees to UK ones, then lots will decide to stay and earn even better wages!

So unless the low paid/low skilled jobs dry up, I suspect lots will stay for proplonged periods
