Love / Is it possible to be friends with girls in Poland? [59]

I am an English guy living and working in Poland , i have quite a few girl friends , that i don,t see as sexual partners...they are just friends........Yes i have met more than a few who want to have a boyfriend from another country , especially one who might have money , but they are easy to spot...and its not only in Poland , you can find people like this in any country.....good friends are special , and they can be of either sex.....

I eagerly await her contact......i will let you all know what happens.....did i say she has the most beautifull eyes...i try not to stare , but its hard to take my eyes from hers....I think i fell for her the first time i met her...but i kinda denied it....now i am giving in to what i feel....and it feels nice.....god i hope she is single.....

for a man of the world you seem pretty shy,

ERR man of the world yes.....but not an expert on Polish women....Because of the difference in culture it is possible to offend the lady by doing something that maybe would be ok in the UK......I just don,t want to make a problem for her , so i asked the advice of Polish ladies.....I should have maybe said i was a man of most of the world...excluding Poland.....

Well.....today i dodged work for an hour....bought some flowers and drove to her office to deliver them.....She seemed really pleased with them , and offered her cheek for a kiss.....i kissed her....words can, t describe the tingle it gave me , made my toes curl....I think she asked me for a coffee sometime but i am not sure , anyways she is going to send me a text message which my friends at work can help translate......Seems to be going ok so far.....I seem to be thinking about her every moment since i first met her.....this could be serious.......eeekkkk

Travel / Tips for driving in Polish cities [29]

Any tips on driving a car in a Polish city?

If you have no experiance of driving on the other side of the road , then i advise you avoid the cities....I am a brit who has driven a lot in Poland and other countries , and now work as a truck driver in Poland....I still find myself being very carefull in cities , and now and then getting confused as to who gives way to who , and what lane i need to be in.....Someone with no experiance of driving on the right would have a real problem i think.......I think you ought to have a play in a small town before you do battle with the Polish city dwellers.....

Well.......i visited her office , even tho i didn,t need to till i have to register again in three months......I took her a picture chart with English and Polish descriptions on , mentioned i would like to fix a small problem on her car for her...and wondered how to go about asking for her phone number.....It was a nice suprise when she asked for my phone number.......Now i am counting the seconds till she phones me......I am going to wait till the weekend , then send her some flowers......just to say thank you for her help with the documents......AND...just maybe i will ask her to go for a coffee......

That's a lovely name. I can see that you seem to be very fond of her already.

She is really nice...she helped me a lot with some documents , even tho she didn,t have to.....i found her attractive the first time i met her...and with each time i saw her the feelings grew stronger.......i just want to spend some time with her , get to know her , and see where it goes from there....

Well i just found out she is not married...that doesen,t mean she is single of course , but it does raise my hopes a little.....My cunning plan is to send her some flowers to say thank you for the help with the documents , and maybe mention at the same time that she is very attractive........I will let you know what happens........

You have indeed...thanks for that.....Actually i think she is part Hungarian as she has a Hungarian name . and no i don,t have a fetish for Hungarians...never met any before , i just like nice people with pretty eyes , not really relavant where they come from.....

As a Brit living and working in Poland i have to go to my local government office to register as a resident here.....So , every three months i meet this lovely lovely lady there who always has a lovely smile , is very helpful, and has the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen.....over the years we have become quite friendly although we cant communicate very well......I know she has a young daughter , but i don,t know if she is married or not , my feeling is she is not.....We talked about meeting to teach each other our languages , and i offered to repair her car for her.....I am a man of the world , and know plenty about women , but this one is special , and Polish , how do i let her know i like her very much without risking the friendship , and how do i ask if she is in a relationship without offending her....She is a lovely person , and i don,t want to make a wrong move here.....advice please Polish ladies.....

I've been producing Drum n Bass since early 2000

Brave of you to admit to it......don,t bring any to Poland , we have enough with all this tecno crap......try making some rock music , or at least something that can be listened to be people not out of their head on drugs......

Real Estate / I am English, 40, want to sell my home and move to Poland [17]

Anyway,i could rent my home here and go to Pl with 30k,or sell my home here and with the equity take with me 100k.

I thnk with this kind of money you don,t need to work as builder, buy a place that you can attract tourists to , and maybe a place to rent to tourists , or you could work doing up places that other Brits have bought......

I have lived here two years , and been made very welcome by all the Polish people around me......
