with respect dolly, you have probably seen more of the world than i have but surely its not worth following this up when there are plenty of other potential relationships waiting out there that will be better placed geographically than 'sausages' current situation. Things such as e-mail, phone calls and sending pictures etc etc are elements that you can do without when starting a relationship.

Surely the better option is to find somebody better suited in the long run.

firstly, wow wow wow wow wow, after six weeks there was talk of marriage, this seems crazy, is this not more out of hope than belief or what?? marriage will not fix distance and is for people in love, which surely after six weeks (With respect) you are not.

I had a Polish girlfriend myself and we broke up because she went back home to Poland, it was sad and i was gutted but its part of life and we both thought it was for the best so that both of us could get on with our lives. We enjoyed our time together but realised that it would be unrealistic in the near future to continue with her in Poland and me in the UK.

Long distance relationships should really be a no go, a relationship is based on spending quality time together and not just at the other end of the phone. The point of being in a relationship with somebody is surely to see them.

There are plenty of others out there that will give you more than a long distance relaitonship. What are you going to get out f it, you may as well have a pen pal. No Romantic dinners, no nights in, no movies, no days out, no meeting the parents and therefore not really getting to know each other.

There is much more than just this above, i believe that long distance relationships are worthless and pointless especially if you only met her six weeks ago, just treat it like a holiday romance, lol.

On a serious level though i would just advise that you move on and find somebody else who is a little closer to hand.

Well to a certain extent i see her point, i see it for myself in England, all the illegal immigrants who want to stay in the country used to try and latch on to the UK girls, however the UK girls don't stand for it anymore so they have moved on to our European visitors who are members of the EU. In this individual case Polish girls, who seem to fall for it or just are happy to go along with it.

I'm not saying that immigrants legal/illegal are not nice people and un attractive or anything like that, what i am saying is that there is a clear plan from the illegals to latch onto anything that is associated with Europe and them having a chance of staying. Me for one does not want this happening, they came here illegal and should be kicked straight back into touch and out of the UK.

I don't really have a right to speak here and usually when i don't have a right i don't speak but this time i will.

My theory is pretty simple, if you fall in love and you are really both 'in love' your relationship will last out until either one of you dies. If you break up it means you were not in love because something got in the way of your love. Therefore it was not love because love is eternal. This means that although i have had girlfriends that i have really liked, unfortunately with my theory i have never loved them or they have not loved me. Which is a real shame as i don't like to go into relationships that have no future.


thats kind of contradiction, your really involved but miles away, with respect for a proper relationship you need to be able to spend a lot of time with each other, not just spending time on the phone or with e-mail exchanges. Love cannot live if you do not spend a durable amount of time together.

i don't know myself maybe its 'forum culture' i'm not sure :) I think its also because when you register you have a sense of identity and not an outsider looking in, your actually a member on the inside. Something along these lines any way. Its a psychological factor that the other members need to have satisfied.


i play both football and cricket, i also do a lot of swimming and physical work in the gym, mainly cardio and stamina work to be honest and a few weights.

i had a serious back injury once playing football and this sometimes flares up so its of to the sports therapist when it tweaks :)
