Life / Styles in Poland: What do people wear? [65]

Polish women spend a lot of time and money on buying expensive cloths. They love to dress up and look nice.

yeah and then arrange dates and stand up pr*cks like you, such fun! its not a sign of our inferiority complex, its just being a woman and having the right canvas to look good in whatever you put on. Polish women are very independent and they know what they are doing. they know what theyve got and are not afraid to use it, after all men all over the world want one (or a few if they are muslim ha ha).

Life / Styles in Poland: What do people wear? [65]

majority have a natural sallow complexion, tan very easily and naturally.

not true, you get that if youre lucky. my younger sisters do, but i dont. yet still they go for sunbeds all the time. im pale and ineteresting lol, unless i get some fake tan involved. and i dont like having fake nails, they annoy me. i do have my hair done on a regular basis though :).

There are babes and mingers in Poland just like there are in England.

and some of them DO overdo their makeup and bleach their hair too much, not mentioning the tango shade skin madness.

Life / Styles in Poland: What do people wear? [65]

id get some skinny jeans and boots/stilletos, thats very in right now all girls wear them. just make sure you look good at all times, no creased old t-shirts or wellies, Polish women like to take care of themselves and they always look gawjuss lol. make-up and nice hair will be pretty much required, even if its just a trip down the shop. so strut your stuff!

Love / Polish men with Scottish Girlfriends [66]

A true Pole would always find time for his drinking buddies

They probably say he's become boring.

dont care what they're saying, when he's not around they know he is training with GROM ;)

Love / Polish men with Scottish Girlfriends [66]

my Scottish bloke used to drink a lot, but so have i so it was never a problem. now we dont really go out on the p*ss, mostly because he is a twat when he gets drunk and always does something stupid... he now prefers to stay with me and go to the cinema or for a meal, rather than get drunk with his mates. the secret is, you gotta give 'em something better at home so they forget about their drinking buddies ;).

Love / I'm daying a Polish Guy and I wanna know... [55]

Now he's trying to point out all my mistakes in English, probably thinking I even care about his opinion.

oh yeah he is even capble of telling you your Polish is no good. try to tell him his translations are crap, and he'll say he doesnt care if his Polish is rubbish and why would it have to be good as its a dying language anyway (!) lol. dont use it then! such a friggin moron.

and speaking about Russia, we have many friends there and believe me its not good out there at all. the only way some people could make a living was smuggling whatever they could to Poland and selling it for dollars or zlotys, and yes many of them would come from Russia, not just Kaliningrad cos thats next door. it will die off now as the border will be shut since Poland is in Shengen, visas will be too pricey for such a risky business. Polish are much better off. so michal if you wanna see people begging, starving, on a very low education level and zero urbanisation in a 100 mile radius, go back to your motherland.

On your own, how are you ever going to improve? Women!!

oh my sweet Jesus, and how will she ever cope without your precious help?! im sure there are plenty of people on this forum who will help her much more than you will, without confusing her with a bunch of out dated vocabulary. and guess what, i bet they will never mention it, either.

To znaczy, że jestem zdolniejszy niż Ty.

ok so you speak one more language than i do. does it make me think youre more intelligent or diligent than me? NO. you might be clever, but your ignorance and dumb lies outshine it all. see you're not even a native British person, you're half Russian and you act like God knows who, slagging off the Polish probably because jokes about stupid Russians are very popular in Poland. Well guess what, Poland is in the EU and its getting better every year. Funnily enough there are lots of places in Russia that sound just like Poland in your stories (people doing the toilet in the outbildings, not many cities, bad education etc.). you sure you're not getting anything confused here? Tell you what, Russia is a sh*thole controlled by one crazy man who will do anything for power, i suppose life sucks there MUCH more than it does in Poland. youre just jealous you're not half Polish.

Food / Polish people and Thai food [19]

i know, my sister always asks me to bring some sauce for her, she loves korma too. ive thrown in some poppadums and mango chutney as well last time i saw her, she was extatic lol. prwans arent big in Poland, i actually know many people there who wont eat them just because they think they are disgusting. my mother wont even want to taste them lol.

Food / Polish people and Thai food [19]

i like rogan josh or madras too, i mean the taste and the flavour, but the spices are too strong in them and i end up having a litre of water with it, not very enjoyable! my bloke says korma is not a curry as curry is meant to be spicy and korma is like a dessert... oh well i dont care, i love it, with chicken or prawns and some mushroom rice. mmmmm!!

Law / Visitor In Love with a Polish girl, UK marriage/Polish residence question [17]

Poland is in the EU so if you marry your girlfriend, im guessing you will automatically get residence anywhere in EU, including UK. I just hope youre not marrying her just for that fact though. Im not sure about the regulations in UK for non EU residents marrying EU citizens over here, so ill let someone better informed answer that. I suppose its not much of a difference whether you marry in UK or Poland.

Study / The basic requirements for a non-EU foreigner to go to a university in PL [23]

I was in Kraków once, years ago and there were plenty of Americans having polish Language tuition. The lessons were not very good and they were just given certificates which entitled them to credit transfers in the united States.

yeah and that was about a 100 years ago. the guy is asking about Polish universities - not some dodgy Polish tuitions. why dont you stop responding to all these things you have no idea about? youre such a loser!

Language / (part 2) Polish Language Pronunciation - Sample Words and Phrases [311]

yeah everybody tells me not to lose the accent, i speak very clear and have a nice voice, so its ok. could open a Polish hotline or something ;). i know a couple of Polish people who try to be so very correct with their English pronounciations and choosing their words, that by the time they actually finish their sentence everybody's so not interested. they choose the correct (in their minds) pronounciation and formal vocabulary over regular everyday English. its so pathetic, makes me cringe when i listen to that.

Language / (part 2) Polish Language Pronunciation - Sample Words and Phrases [311]

yeah i talk to myself in English quite often, too, and yes i dont sound exactly British, but there are a few phrases that i have mastered so far (by repeating them almost every day), and as long as i dont have to use an "r" i sound ok ;). it definitely is a matter of practice.
