Totally agree with eleanoroconner, do not even consider getting into the hassle of fitting out your property by urself. Get mamdom (or a competitor) to fit your place. They usually have extensive models to chose from and are quite flexible.

Some Eastern Europeans lack certain social skills that are taken for granted in the west. Cant blame them. Having lived over half a century in utter misery under a police state where everyone was suspicious of and spying on everyone else, they are bound to have some scars. The only time I ever meet them in London they are either serving in canteens or sitting by a crappy reception desk in a 3 star hotel in Paddington. Well I am afraid u missed the whole point if u still don't understand the reason why people do not respect the president: it is because he does not deserve respect.

A hard working honest man striving to raise a family deserves respect. A man unselfishly dedicating his entire life,heart and soul, to a cause dear to him deserves respect. A president doesnt. Cant make it simpler than that, unless ur intention is to beat a dead horse with this subject.

Cause politicians, all politicians, are corrupt self serving incompetent crooks. Everybody knows this. Hence, somebody who runs and gets elected for public office, be it a President, a MP or whatever, must be prepared to be derided and laughed at.

Fact is, they don't even care, they carry on lying, protecting interest groups who got them there in the first place, and generally masquerading as genuinely caring public servants, regardless.

Trouble is a lot of people identify strongly with their country and with the head of that country by association.

You shouldn't. For they do nothing other than taxing ur fellow citizens, wasting their money and get them into all sorts of trouble by pursuing a disastrous foreign policy. Also, these guys r utter useless and when push comes to shove, they will be the first to flee the boat and head to safety elsewhere.

I spent a night in warsaw 10 days ago, couldn't get anything for less than 160 zloties for a room that has a shower. That's about €50 and I find it rather steep for a low range hotel. Then drove up north to Olsztyn and i couldn't get anything for less than 92 zloties for a room with no shower. Rooms with shower were priced at about 150 minimum.

People are relaxed all over the world bar the big capitals and the poles come nowhere near the laid back Hawaiians or the OZs, polish food has nothing to make it stand out, as for prices they keep shooting up by all counts, and the local transport has nothing special either.

Same thing in England where u yield to the driver on your right. More generally, whoever happens to be on the roundabout has got priority over the ones trying to get in.

Now why do u think the same rule works in England and wouldn't work in Germany?

Compared to England or Poland, Germany has fewer roundabouts and most are small ones on small roads where traffic lights wouldn't have made much sense.

The kind of roundabout monstruosity at the junction of Marszałkowska and Jerozolimskie in Warsaw, or the infamous one in Elephant and castle London for that matter, isn't the sort of thing u'd normally see in western Germany.

That's not as annoying as the crazy nuts who insist on overtaking a 200m long line of cars and lorries despite the incoming traffic in the opposite direction.

I drove from Warsaw to Olsztyn (and back) over the weekend and it was total mayhem on those bumpy congested roads. Mind u, it was even worse on the road to Bialystock with all those Lithuanian lorries.

Also, they obviously do not have enough motorways, but the bits they do have, tend to have traffic lights junctions at some point !! So imagine u r cruising at a 150+km/h and then u have to break swiftly to avoid hitting a queue of cars that just stopped at the traffic lights, on the motorway.

I'd ask you to reconsider your position re Ibiza though. Pretty much the best Party place in Europe. I had memorable parties at El Divino, an awesome club with breathtaking views overlooking the harbor. The music is brilliant and the crowd is beautiful. The party goes on until late in the morning. It reaches a climax at sunrise, quite a thrill ive never had anywhere else in Europe.

Certainly not in Warsaw :-)

There are tried and tested truths in this world. But for whatever reason, some people would rather fake ignorance: For a one-off hot date, u cant beat a Black or a Latino lover. Period. End of.

There is a reason why Europeans birds who wanna get laid proper always head south. Ive hardly heard of anyone flying to Berlin, Warsaw or Moscow to have fun.

Now as for who is the hottest among the germans, poles and the russians, it's a bit like asking which is the fastest among a Moskvitch, a Lada and a Zhiguli. Nobody cares as they are all crap.

It's not just that they age badly but in my view their main problem is the lack of class.

Now you can't buy that or learn it either. You either have it or u don't.

They are ok to have at home, hang out with in a club, or collect as a trophy, but on the big occasions, they come across as being confused clumsy and clueless. A total embarrassment. That's when one says "God, why couldn't I just stick to western Europeans".
