Let's just say I have a lot more to offer than the average guy on the street on Krakow (though whether that helps or not has been debated in previous threads).

Some herbs used to be popular for beauty in Poland. Also "pijawki" (not sure how it's in English).
There is a terrific book called, "Polish Herbs, Flowers & Folk Medicine" by Sophie Horowicz Knab with lots of useful information like that in English. I'm pretty sure you can find it in many online bookstores.
