Unfortumately it isnt possible now... because Russians have had their emipre just 20 years ago, and they would like to be fearful and important again ...

as to oil, when prices of oil will be blowe 60$ for longer time it is good business to make benizne form coal ... 90% of our power plants uses coal. And we have really enourmous emouts of coal in Poland. We have Uranium (in Sudety and Australian-Polish join venture wants to expolre it) that is why we joined Lithueanians in their plans to build nuclear power plant ... Honestly all European countries relifed from Russia are richer (per capita) than Russians ...

We started to discusse which country is stronger...

The problem is that Russia is black mailing us and our neigbours and we are not going to be quiet. Russia wants to trade with EU but they dont want to trade with new EU countries, they made embargo on our products, they black mail countries form our region. So until they will stop doing it and start trade in the same way with us as they do with western EU countries, we will block all trade agreements or joing Russia to WTO ... (yes we can do it)


why do you want to avoid other EU countries? after last three years of energetic black mailing we know game you play ... Honestly European bank refused to sponsor this project EU commision realized some facts too, and Germans do everything to make us quiet becuase some facts are more and more known in Brussels ...

Figures show that alternative ways of pipe line are economicaly much better (short and long term).


Poland and Scandinavian countries are woried about ecology as well...

I understad that Russians just 20 years ago were first/second word power, and now they are the weakest in 300 years time ... I understand that Russia wants to be strong again ... it isnt wrong but we are not going to be victim of Russians aspirations.

what is more important Russia is much weaker in comparison to western states than it was durring cold war. They have money from petrol, and what they do ? They buy missiles, bombers, helps other regimes black mail democratic neigbours... So they play the same game in which they lost just 20 years ago.

They were so stupid they used energetic black mail, strategic bombers and so on ... that our point of view is more and more understanded in EU. Their project of Notrh pipe line is in troubles too. We as the strongest country with troubles with them, have choosen PO with much bettter press and proffesional diplomacy.

It is project.

there are two alternative ways of new gas pipe lines : AMBER and JAMAL II

What is problem with Trans-Baltic Pipe line

It is much more expensive (Germans and Russians wants to bild it using EU funds)
It is dangerous for natural enviroment (seriusly)
Only Russia and Germany wants this project, all other countries refused permition to builid it on their part of Baltic. So they have to build it in places where are old Germans wepons.

Russia use gas and oil to black mail their neighbours (it is fact) after Lithuenia sold us Oil instalations Russians stoped sending them oil. After Estonians decided to move Russian monuments form citi center, they stoped sending mineral resources as well. When Ukraina has choosen democracy they started to black mail them in the same way.

Russians had problems because they had to stop sending oil to old Europe to so thwy had troubles. They decided to bulid new pipe line together with Germans to avoid countries they want to black mail, even this project is much more expensive (to build and exploatate) When we showed Germans our figures they aswered that it is political project (!!!) so they help Russians in they eforts to dominate eastern Europe again.

All other countries are agians this project, only Germans and Russians want it.

After everything what happened for Poland Ukraine Lithenia Estonia in last three years we know why this project is so strongly promoted by Russians ... Honestly it wasnt good economical business form the begining after all countries refused to build it on their part of Baltic it is one of the most expenisve projects. Amber and Jamal II are much more chiper to build and exploatate. Answer we get form Germans and Russians is one ... it is political project ... Russians wants to black mail our countries without making troubles for Germans ... Germans agree that it is grate idea

To cut long stroy short, people a litle bit mixed (Polish-German) in western part of Poland or coming form miniorities like Kashubians were forced to join Wermaht, in German units they werent considered as true Germans and were always on first line so they prefered to desert and join alies ... .

Actualy my sister works in EU funds, and when she told me how it looks ... They spend so enormous amounts of money on officers and procedures ... long story. Now it is good business for Poland but Eu could use less money and have the same efect of help they give us. Reality looks horible, they train officers and this officers train next officers, other officers checks projects, other checks officers who check projects, nextly there are officers who check procedures ...... We are definately on plus so we shouldnt complain ;) but it could be done better...

OK I agree. I would sell half of their properties in Brussels, all in all now we take so many EU funds that we shouldnt be worried about costs of bureaucracy there. I just think about citizens of UK, Holland or Irealand. They pay for those all officers ... no comment. Later they take back regulations like "carrot is vegetable" ;)

Idea of EU is grate but we should try to change it, now there is more countries who look on this bureaucracy and think that it should be done different ... so maybe in future when we will not be "new one" ... and there will be more coutries will share our point of view ...


For first think it isnt bad idea, but just imagine situation when you have to pay for your education, and only one group of people who have enought money to pay for it ... are Oligarchs.

When we look on which countries are the richest. We see that democratic or those who have mineral resources ... we dont have oil or gas ;) so maybe it is better to stay democratic :)

He is trying to prove that Russia is so rich that we can just dream about thier level of life ... (when we proved that you can buy Russian teen from rich St Petersburg by internet he stoped)

Next he was writting that Mongolina warriors were poor too and conquered half of word, Romanians were lazy the same as Anglo-Saxon now and Russia will beat whole western word the same as barbarians (modern europeans) did with Rome ...

After we started to laught at him when he was trying to threaten us (he is Russia we are Poland ;))) LOL) he told that he like Poland and it will be enought when we will sold Ukraine for them and we will live in peace ...

as to EU ... yes I agree they are bureaucrats, hords of officers, thousents of regulations ... but all in all we are part of it and we can influece on direction it goes... in EU we dont have only German bureaucrats but more normal countries like UK, Ireland, Holand, new European countries. We have a lot of bureacracy in our country but in comparison to some EU states we dont have this problem ... There is hope we will simply over vote our ideas in EU ...


No ... I know this idea, you can read about similar idea which was tested for example in XIX century in UK, there votes of rich were more important than poor (or simply rich could vote and poor not)

TVN is liberal and everybody know that, so what is the problem ? They represent liberal point of view, that is all. I western countries there is the same, some media are conservative some are liberal. In Poland we have choice if you dont like TVN or GW you can read Dziennik or Wprost, Trybuna or NIE and watch other TV stations .


for example you think that lower taxes are better, that gay is equal human, EU is good business for Poland ...

Conservatist have their media and Liberals have their media, Commies have their media too. Everything is ok

I dont agree, brain wash is made in TVP or RM, yes TVN is liberal but you should notice that members of PiS and their point of view is respected in TVN. Wildstein, Staniszkis, Ziemkiewicz the main propagators of IV RP and other PiS ideas are widly represented in debates which we have in TVN. Polsat (another TV station) has just that kind of character they atack everybody in brutal way, durring SLD gov they were one of the most brutal, durrring PiS gov they did the same ... There is Radio M and TV Trwam ... everybody can find something to watch or read (GW, Nasz Dziennik, Dziennik, Rzeczpospolita, Wprost, Polityka, Newsweek Pl ed. Nasz Dziennik, Trybuna, NIE) Everybody has their media, and it is good, our media arent political correct and it is in my opinion really good but the price is that we have brutal debates ... (all sides arent political correct) and I m sure that PO is not going to change it...

as to Rydzk empire, he has "TV Trwam" he has "Radio Maryja" he has "Nasz Dziennik" I agree that they mostly pray and talk about family (yes I have checked it ;) ) but when they start to talk about policy, values, religion, church ... ehhh they make fool form this old people... It is interestiong why Americans prefere Tusk as their partner ? Tusk is going to take our soldiers form Iraq and I dont think Poland is going to support USA policy in way it was last time. Maybe it was rather problem to have such friends as PM Kaczysnki?
