I can recommend Maroma Beach. Not quite as dangerous and has a fantastic beach. You can take jungle tours, cave tours and I'm sure you'll get plenty of exotic bird watching in. I've also been to Tijuana and I don't recommend it at all...unless you're looking for a donkey show.

In the US it may be, but I often hear the PL people refer to each other as "polak". I'm assuming it's the same in Ireland as the US?

Well, the dollar has gained more value and is rising. Last week it was 2.80 now it's back up to 2.91 still not as good as last time I was there in jul-aug when it was 3.18

High maintenance is common here. I think some American women are definitely more high maint. than PL....he just ended up with one. Guess it all depends on the person. From my ex (american) to my current...completely opposite.
To answer this Paul's question. I met my GF in a snowboard forum....it had nothing to do with where you're from and wasn't a dating site. I don't think you'd find much luck in a site for dating because it sounds desperate. We just happened to run into each other and instantly got along. We both love to ride and have a lot of similarities. She's the best :)
