Well , I hope you are ok, its very sad that your BF wont be a part of it , that makes
it hard.. MY best friend had an abortion, she was to young at the time , thats what
her grandmother told her. it was true, but at the same time , now shes feeling all
those feelings every mother does.. what if I didnt. what if I had that baby, and she
regrets it every day.

raising a baby isnt easy, but everyone of my friends and people I have met , coming
across someone whos had a planned pregnancy is few and far between.. todays
society , theres more single parents then married.. so its not considered bad like when
my parents grew up and having a baby required being married and the husband working a good job and having a home.. its not like that anymore ,even though deep down this

is what we want, and anyone can father a child, but it takes a real man to be a dad.

my husband grew up around his grandparents and his mom without his father who
was on drugs and alcohol and just a bad influence all the way around, in some instances not having the father around is a blessing ( like his) because he was influenced

by his grandfather who worked and stuck by his family.

my mother was upset at first when I was pregnant with my older daughter, but
rather then fight with him all the time, I wanted her to be raised around positive
family and she turned out to be a great kid, doing the normal 16 year old things, but
shes doing excellent in school. shes going to join health careers next semester and
has excelled in alot of her studies.. by far, having a child outside of marriage and
raising them isnt impossible..

and I would do it all over again , Sacrafice and love, trust me its all worth it because
you do get loved back. and where would I be without them now.. I am sure
all of us parents on here agree with that.. I couldnt imagine life without them now.

I do, my first daughter I raised on my own, alone, till I met my husband now
and we did just fine. I payed a babysitter each week, it was hard, but we
were on our own, we did fine, I worked my normal 40 hours a week, thats hard
with a small child being a single mom. but it has to be done. I had my own car
Earned and payed for myself. along with my own townhouse, and we did fine.

so yeah, I will accept genius as my nik.. because you have no idea what your talking

well, personally I think whatever is comfortable , I am sure they are packing a bullet
proof vest, you need room for that, plus all the other stuff that goes on a belt, so

that - old and not geared towards saftey. you can see what/where the gun is, and all

well this is information you need to find out before asking online, the only way
anyone can help is with the proper information.

suggestion number 1. ask your parents where they were born
and who all is still alive ( oldest family members) and call them to find out
what church * here* they were baptised in.

you will get some information from that.
another good source, make sure you get correct spellings of your surnames
if your great grandparents came from Poland between 1892 and 1924 they
would have had to come thru ellis island or baltimore etc, there are a few ports
of arrival, but you would need to get a subscription online for ancestry.com

ancestry.com is a little expensive, but they have alot of information about
genealogy and alot of records like Cencus, Drafts, death records, etc.

plus a good suggestion is to get a software program to document all your finds
with the sources.

genealogy is a big business now, usually you can find information at a local library
or history center.. you might also want to check into that.

you have to have clues, other wise , no one online or anywhere else can help
you without names, places etc.. many people have duplicate names /common
names so you have to be specific and go digging, which I might add is the fun
part once you actually find a record you didnt previously own.

I think alot of bitter feelings towards other countries need to be broken and time to
heal.

I suggest wonderful traditional dancing and festivals in each others countries to celebrate life and to show how much fun each others traditions can be.

Poland and germany have festivals in each others countries as well as Russia.

I did look it up online and didnt see a polish festival in Russia, or Germany so I
looked up Russian Festivals in Poland and didnt see it either.

In America , we have alot of festivals, of each nationality.. German, Polish, Italian,
Hungarian etc. its pretty cool, its really something to go to someone elses traditional
party and actually see that they are not much different then you.. no matter what
country. I think it would take away some of the fear people hold by enjoying and
Appreciating someone elses culture.

you know that girl was traumatized big time, to have the child prob sent her over
the edge to be a child and bear a child , not fully understanding the laws , only

what if at 18 weeks the mother starts hemoraging, do they say well, we shall let
the mother die and keep the baby whos not even half developed?

what are the policys for women who are in critical condition due to the fetus?

do they take the baby if the mother is in some type of critical condition and death
is imminant?

these are important issues that also can involve women who have been abused
or raped and a situatation like this can occur during pregnancy, if a husband beats
on the woman enough to send her into labor, but shes bleeding internally, whos life
is saved if the policys are concluded at 12 weeks?

I am seriously thinking poland needs a overhaul, but Im suspecting I am wrong.
Please show me that serious situations like this are not ignored. I want to believe

In its previous report the government of Poland does not mention the impact of the new abortion law on women in Poland and does not seem to treat it as a serious violation of women's reproductive rights, as included in Art. 9, 17,18,19,26 of the ICCPR.

Protection of the Human Foetus and the Conditions for Admissibility of Abortion Act dated January 7, 1993 constitutes a serious threat to women's lives (Article 6 of ICCPR, and Article 20 of the Polish Constitution)). It results in practice in frequent refusal by public medical institutions of delivering legal abortion services to women whose life and health are endangered by pregnancy.

Practical implementation of the Act frequently results in cases when women face difficulties in obtaining doctor's recommendation for abortion. Such infringement of women's rights also often occurs when pregnancy is a result of rape due to prolonged prosecutor's procedures (abortion is legal only for women who are less than 12 weeks pregnant).

For instance, in 1998 a 14-year-old girl was raped in Slupsk (Northern Poland), the prosecutor issued a certificate allowing her to get abortion, however, the medical staff refused to perform abortion for she was pregnant 12 weeks and 6 days at the time.

this is disturbing as it shows that even a child is denied, it was ok for the rape but
not the abortion even when the prosecutor had given her the certificate.
and who knows what kind of disease this man had , I wonder how the parents react
to these things, if they turn vigilante on people like that.. it wouldnt surprise me if
they do.
