No my family were not commies. It was due to "Communist" taking over Poland we lost our country. Or are you referring to the ones that were forced to live in communism. If what happened to Poland, happened to Britian I know it would be OK in your book to talk about it, why do you not see we have a right to the "full truth, accountability, respect". Even the USA if we look at Pearl Harbor, now 20,000 Polish in Katyn, this is the number confirmed. Quite a little differance in how we respect the memory. I hope you are right. "Katlyn" is only part of the story, in this area we had reserve from Polish Army and all the family's. No I feel Poland needs to grow as an independent country. People from Poland have been silenced for over 60 years and are conditioned to not speak by "Communist Poland". Since 1989 is not to very long ago Poland has a high number of citizens that do not know the full truth as to what took place. We could even call it "Russian's brain washing". All we have to do is look at "Katyn" and the reaction of the citizens. Poland has a large void in history that needs to be told before the Polish citizens fully comprehend the reasons the EU has decided to ask USA for assistance in this anti missile shield.

I was not scared, per say. I just feel the threats from Pres. Putin justified installation vs feeling secure with the way things were. Now I feel the comments directed about who shall have the choice are to cause division in Poland, goverment/citizens. This is from Russia that is in need of a voice for the people, no one should fear freedoms.

I noticed no one has brought up the last US election where McCain used a term when refering to another group of people, "Gooks" that sent citizens in an uproar.


What scared me about Obama is his non educated views on the very group the USA is at war with. This is why he keeps dodging the bullet when Clinton asks for a debate. Of corse this is IMO, Clinton on the other hand seems to be able to look at the people from other countries and find the positive of the people and looks at their needs.

I wanted to add one more comment. In the USA I feel in order to have a fair and unbiased election none of the vote results can be viewed before every last vote is placed. It is a known fact that people gravitate to popular views. If a voter is unsure they look for the one that is leading vs. knowledge of the particular candidite. This sways the vote and I always felt that (yes, I watch) televised vote results were the #1 problem with our system. Any one else have this view?

Is this the true reason? If yes then it's fantastic. It speaks to the magnitude of my mistrust in Russia's goals when settting up an office in Russia and reading up on case history would serve this purpose. I guess the same here, we don't have alot of Russians living in the USA to really knowthem that well. We have a Russian baker a few towns over and I tell you, he can bake. Russia as a place seems like they live under the same threats they have in there past.
