Life / How are Poles generally viewed outside Poland by other nations? [84]

Is this hard-working reputation really viewed so positively by most in the UK?

I think opinions are changing amongst a lot of British and not really for the good, there has been article after article over the last few weeks about British builders losing their jobs because there is a cheaper job pool to tap in to which happens to be Polish builders, these British men have mortgages and families here in their own country and are finding it increasing harder to provide for their families....I'm not going to start bashing anyone but this is happening and I would imagine it will cause a lot of friction between people on building sites.

My friend has problems with TH - so she usually says Fink as a posed to THink, but then again you get a hell of a lot of English than cannot pronounce English very well...

"2 daddies"... kissing each other and doing other disgusting sh*t won't affect a child.

Hmmmm, dont fight it Mr G, it must be difficult for you in Poland and living in the closet but times are a changing...:)

How do you know that ?

Gays are not made, they are, its genetic

Mr F, if she is not attracted to women then she's not going to be lesbian, I think people are born the way they are. I do think that people should be more torlerent. In an ideal world there would be two parents, a mother and a father, but we dont live in a perfect ideal world.

I have two gay friends who foster they have made a big difference to lives of children they have fostered....the points that have been made here a stupid, gay men are not going make children gay....pff

It really makes me wonder what people are actually thinking about sometimes...These two guys have been in a relationship for over 10 years and have a lot to give.

Love / having an affair with a Polish man (but he has a wife and a child) [266]

but these women still live in a fantasy world

I hope you are not referring to me, I live in the real world hence my comments about cheating men being dumped, English women dont put up with that kind of behaviour....now thats reality..

LOL at Mr D....:)

Love / having an affair with a Polish man (but he has a wife and a child) [266]

Anothre thing I am sure of, we have in Poland very strict child support law. I don't know, if you want to date him in the future, after he would be paying his wife and his daughter more than half of the "big money" he makes.

Now thats a positive thing, but enforcing such a thing is difficult....since he is in England and she is in Poland, they cant put an attachment on his earnings

Love / having an affair with a Polish man (but he has a wife and a child) [266]

I think he is not bringing them to UK because he plans to go back to Poland. He is not divorced because there is nothing wrong with his marriage. His wife may know that perhaps he has somebody for now but know him well enough to be sure that he will be back. He is concerned about his daughter because he loves her and most likely his wife too. Of course it is possible that he is sooooooo smitten by the English "lady'" since he didn't have a woman for a while...She cannot judge the situation for she doesn't know polish reality. Many families have to live like his... long years of separation, affairs etc...

affairs, now that doesnt say a lot about Polish men and their morals does it now..a little bit of reserve would be called for because I dont know any English women that would put up with that kind of thing, most men that go and work away for long periods take their wives with them - if they love them -

Love / having an affair with a Polish man (but he has a wife and a child) [266]

Some Polish families are apart since 2003, when Poland joined EU. Almost 3 yrs.
It is called long-distance realtionship. Some guys are bringing their families over there as soon as they make enough money.

Well this guy hasnt and he's taking home about 2k after tax & NI so that tells me he likes his life in England and doesnt want his family here

And maybe he just doesnt want to hurt his daughter, thats a good enough reason...he needs to get some backbone and be honest.

Okay and if all these Polish women are marrying other men, what about the Polish men that was my point or are there more Polish women than men! you do the maths!

They're adults and have their own minds, he's the guilty one, she's not in a relationship and if he is a P.E. / maths teacher he is earning circa. 30k so I dont think he needs any financial help either, matti, if he's been away from Poland for 2.5 years then what does that say for his marriage, you also make out that this guy is using her, why does that have to be the case, can it not just be he is in love with her or is that hard for you to understand....as for Polish guys not getting in to relationships with other women other than Polish women this is rubbish, what about the Polish women in relationships with other men.....just like yourself!
