History / Poland-Russia: never-ending story? [1341]

After all, we live in modern time

Well it is only our suggestion that we live in the modern world, but human nature is constant in any times, and we are still divided by religions and actually even more than in the times of East-West schism 1054 or in the times of Patriarh Photios I. And even such passionate persons like Cardinal Humbertus and Patriarch Michael Cerularius might shed a tearover us.

As to a "total defeat", well, it will never be true! Because I know your state history, but you have only foggy notion about Russian one. I can give you many facts from polish history just from my mind but you only few missinterpretted russian history moments....

Oh sure, i forget the fact that Poland is one of the richest world's states. Sure, ofcorse it is more rich than saudi arabia, were poor arabs shepherd their camels on the SUV's

In green, rich countries, in yellow developping countries, and red, poor countries.

See where is Russia, see WHERE IS POLAND ;D LoL

Oh i forget another rich country - Argentina, were people are still trying to make both ends meet after crisis
And sure Mexico!!! Together with poland it is one of the richest countries!

You are right; Poland is no way near Russia... errmm wait a minute, that's also not true. You are basically our bloody neighbors! I wish that it was different. Damn you Russia!!!! ;P

Oh i suppose that the beating of little brothes is a perfect pleasure for our russian heart
"B'yot - znachit lubit" (beating means love)

GDP (per capita/per person)
Education
Technology
Democracy
Culture
Ecology
Human Rights
Wages
New Technologies

Where is Russia ? where is Poland ? :))))

1. An account must be taken of the fact that Russians dont like to pay taxes, I pay only a minimal part of my ernings. So absolute figures of income of russian people are much higher than polish.

2. About 70% of russians enter in High Sc-s and Colleges
3. Space, armament, scinces...hemmm may be ballet too! What about this parameters?
4. We have a plural democratic system
5. Culture? You are joking?I just hardly imagine to compere russian culture with polish, Ha!!!
6. Ecology? Yoa never been in russia, try to visit, and you will see
7. What rights do you mean?

P-O-L-A-N-D bEttEr ThAn Russia ;)

Well, let it be so, but we are bigger, and this fact is indisputable

is there any point comparing,, with so much corruption in poland there is no comparison.
in poland people can have their say unline the russian journalist who died last year, what about mr litvienjenko is that the great morality available in russia. what about the brutality russian soldiers casue to people in georgia, chechnya, treatment of women in russia have you focused on that, yes you have mor money but life in poland is changing and at the moment there is love and peace. values and ethics.

Full set of prejudices and myths

Monarchy = Kingdom

NoTo be exact, you are losing sight of such monarchycal titles as DESPOT and TYRANT, previously, both titels, before they become allegorical, were normal titles of monarch in Ancient Greece or Late Byzantine Empire (after 1204).

Not to mention the fact that european investors are the most significant investors in Russia and european market is the main market for russian goods.

Do you want to say that this investors just offer us their money and have nothing back in exchange for it?

Quoting: ConstantineK
No, but they dotate your economy...fortunately/unfortunately we have no such sponsorship ;-)))

We don't have significant oil and gas resources, and..? Isn't it the outcome that counts?

IMHO you want to say that extraction of this oil and gas is a trifling matter? But i assure you that it is a very hard and complicated work because we are not Arabs and all our oil&gas resources are in the northern parts of siberia in extremal climate conditions. Yes, I know that the money tap from the EU is a difficult task too, but working at the - 50C temperature on the oil extraction i think is much-much harder.

I dont know exactly about Polish nations, but russian peoples for example, were settled on the present territory approx. at the 7-th cent. and played imortant role in Byzantine politic at 8 cent. But Bulgars even older they settled on Balcans at 5-6 cent and emmideatly orgnized pretty large state, and played huge role not only in this region but in all europe affairs untill Turcic invasion.

LOL :) I see you have mision. You try to prove that Poles are not so acient as Russians :) no way :)

and work on feeling of self-respect ;)

where are Russians ? Poles are noticable in two places (todays Ukraina and Poland)

Russians and Ukranians, are the same nation. They deverse only by dialects

No I hadnt any ideas to present Russians as an eldest brother in Slavic family. Poles and Russians approximetly have one age!

News / There is no Muslim in Poland [116]

And it is the black genus that says "Poles are racist" "Poles are not white" (first time I've heard that one) just because are men are sick of lude advances by black females. We're not racist, black women just aren't our type. But if you continue to provicate us, we will gladly become racist.

If you are trying to defend your "whiteness", you are racist!

They didn' betray Russia during 500 years and had nearly a zero participation in revolution.

It is not exactly right, they have tried to form an independent state but failed.
