it is not about your origin because it doesnt matter, we discusse social processes in our society. After 600 years still 10% of Polish tatars claims that they are more Tatars than Poles, even they could marry Christians got nobility and land centuries ago. WE were and are equal.

Assimilation of distinct nations isn't so easy as some can think. Article I posted (about muslims in UK) shows that even there is hard to find more open society that Brits you have some problems and part of your society dont accept changes there. Why Jews came to Poland ? because they were not accepted in other countries and didnt want to assimilate, it wasnt love to new country just calculation or reallity we have to live here. In first centuries they called Poland Jewish Paradise so it was rather tolerant country. Maybe some tensions occured because of status Polish nobels gave jews, they were sth between nobels and peasnats and they some times were used to "donkey work" (taxes) by our nobels. That is why when peasnats wanted to change the law they atacked nobes and jews. The other case is that number of Jews and their strong attachment to their culture and language provoked some tensions. Look on situation in UK it will not change soon, now you will recoginze what means mulitcultural society. There are black people like Grzegorz and white poeple with open mind and advertnently. Now you will see what doesnt mean multicultural society in reallity, and maybe it will stop some accusations, because it is hard work. I generaly support idea of open society but I m against what we can see in western europe. What is more I think that so many articles about Polish emigrants in Brits press is the result of fact that it is imposible to critisize more distinct non-european imigrants.

Maybe I will back to history, not all Jews were living in gettos some were living in country and some in Polish parts of town. Sitation changed many times but XIX century is really bad example because Poles couldnt build their houses in German part of our country ... so we werent responsible for this law. Russians didnt carre about our opinion as well.

we were defender but If you think about our offensive on Kiev that it was against Russians you are wrong because we wanted independent Ukraina. What is more after we beaten Russians is battle of Warszawa and in battle of Niemen we could march on Moscov (and take it again) there was big French pressure to do so but Pilsudski said that there is Russia and Russia in for Russians.

Yddish was language of German jews ... so your theory is false again but I know about some racist theories inside Jewsih society.


There can be some questions about tolerancy between our nations, but the fact is that you had all political rights in Poland (1918-39) what about Jewish political fractions and their programs, some wanted to create Jewish country inside Poland some wanted to move to Palestine and some were commies and some were simillar to Polish parties. I think it will help to see whole picture.

That is the problem of modern Western Europeans, they dont want to listen. Look on France and arab ghettos there, or in some parts of English towns where English people are in miniority and as I know there are some tensions. We were miniority in our country as well. Maybe they should listen what we want to say because it seams that they will be miniority in UK or France as well. I m absolutly not sugesting that they should get rid of them, but maybe they should listen to us and take the best of our solutions and avoid some mistakes. For example Tatars are the best example of succesful assimilation of distinct muslim society in our country ... and if Germans hadn't invided Poland we would have about lets say 5 mln Jewish society here.

as to history of WWII imagine yourself that sb invade UK or France and wants to kill all muslims there. For helping muslims is death penalty for whole family and generaly they kill natives as well. Of course majority is against but I think they would find some collaborators.

I wouldnt be so sure, but maybe.

I didn't want to demonise this part of society, but in towns where jews were +80% of citizens it was normal that some of them spoke only yiddish (thank you for english version) Theories about that Jews were only religous group are wrong it was another nation in our Commonwealth later in second Republic of Poland.

There is saying in Polish about Polish-Jewish realtonships : "Nie żyliśmy razem ,a obok siebie" "We weren't living together but side by side"

after lets say 800 years of living together there are some noticable connections between our cultures some customs some traditions but it is history. From the other hand there is more and more religous Jews in Poland so maybe it was only 60 years break in this realtionship.

Form other distinct nations in our country we have only muslim Tatars their history is very interesting as well. All in all 600 years together.

I dont know if particulary this jews couldnt speak Polish they rather spoken both because they were in miority. This language appeared in Poland in 1098 and later in places where Jews were majority they were speaking only their language some of them couldnt speak Polish at all.

as to Israel, you should undestand that you have stolen land form Palestinians. What is important they havent participated in WWII so they have their arguments. Why a hell Palestinians have to suffer because of Hitlers decissions...

You dont have true friends, last time EU parliament wanted to give support for Palestinians but this decission have been blocked (BTW by Poland not by UK, France or Germany). In USA more and more people ask if it is good business to support you. It seams that Obama will win and I wouldnt be so sure that he will continue USA policy in region. I m covicted that arabs will take first opportunity to tear to pieces all Jews in Israel.

In my opinion you should change your policy because next war like this against Liban when you bombarded hospitals and all infrastructure of this country and called it precise attack on terrorists will give more arguments for your enemies.

You must change your policy and make some compromises maybe painful but you really need it. Because there is strong stereotype that Jews do not deserve to have their own country and Israel is presented as an example.
