Work / English people working in Poland [15]

What cities are you thinking about? Have you ever been to Poland before? It might be worth making a few visits before taking the plunge.

As for low-cost airlines.... take your pick: Wizz, Central Wings, Easy Jet, Ryan Air, Norwegian, BMI Baby. Also worth checking BA when they are running special deals.

UK, Ireland / Polish Entrepreneurs wanted to expand in Europe [19]

OK Nobby, time to come clean - you work for a company called Euphony and if you type "euphony" and "pyramid" into google, we can all see what a scam it is.

I think that it sucks that you come on PF under the guise of offering cheap phone calls (which are nothing of the sort, as I pointed out on the other thread), where ultimately you (and Rita) are simply seeking to benefit financially. At least have the balls to admit what you're up to.

Sheesh... you must think that we're easily reeled in....

Come on, Mark - why don't you just post the info here on the forum?

There is 1 thing thats going to hold you back ... FEAR ...not everyone out there is going to cause you harm....

And the one thing that you fear is that we'll rip the pis5 out of you and expose your "wealth creation" scheme as a scam.

Love / Why english men like polish women ? [126]

typical London woman. You deserve what you will most likely end up with. A single lonely life, filled with your silly fantasies of how incredible you are and how James Bond is only just around the corner waiting to sweep you stinky ass off to live happily ever after. My advise to you. Learn modestly. Life is short and no one has time for hautiness, a sign of abject stupidity.

Typical misguided fool. I am happily married to a wonderful guy and I have plenty of fantastic male friends.

I buy allllllllll women drinks in a bar or nightclub when I meet them and am not English :-)

You're welcome at my local any day :)

Travel / Naturist places in Poland [16]

So there doens't appear to be any designated naturist beaches in Poland? When it comes to naturism, you've really got to take an all or nothing approach.

UK, Ireland / Polish Entrepreneurs wanted to expand in Europe [19]

Anyone?

Don't drink the Kool Aid!! :D

Just goes to show, your not what i'm looking for.

What? You mean some confused Pole who just arrived at Stansted looking for a job in the UK?

Unless you are going to be more upfront about what you are looking for, of course we are going to assume that it's dodgy.

TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE......CLICK HERE

Waaaaaahh!!! run away now.....

Seriously, this kind of stuff really does bother me. Last year a friend of a friend called me up and said that he was near my office, and asked if we could meet for coffee. We met up and I ended up paying for lunch, at which point he launched into a presentation about aloe vera and how joining his scheme would help me to "take control of my life" (something that I really don't need, ta very much).

After 5 mins of listening to his well-rehearsed pitch I called him a cnut and told him never to call me again.

I hate to think that there are people actively targeting Polish people looking for a job, who are new to the UK, and who probably don't have their B.S. radars tuned into this kind of crap.

I know people who could be interetsed, however if you post a few details, I can suggest that they they get in contact.

However, the fact that you are reluctant to give even a few clues makes me suspicious that this is some dodgy multi-level-marketing / pyramid scheme.

Life / "3 Year Tattoo" in Poland? [13]

If you want a tattoo there is no point going for a 3 year thing even though i have never even heard of this!

I definitely read a magazine article a few years ago about a woman who had a circle of flowers around her ankle that would fade after about 2-3 years. Type "semi-permanent tattoo" into google and you find out about all the options (including semi-permanent make-up which I think is a vile idea).

Love / Why english men like polish women ? [126]

They have accepted the fashion of trying to squeeze a man's testosterone out of him. They want to be on equal terms. This is not natural.

You sound like a bitter and twisted knob... have you been hurt by an English girl, perchance?

Oooh, what you got?

I'd love one, but I'm a real wuss. I love the old fashioned style ones... hearts and daggers, swallows...

Life / "3 Year Tattoo" in Poland? [13]

it is called henna tattoo

No - a henna tattoo is something else (they are usually done at fairgrounds and markets and last a few weeks to a few months).

You can get semi-permanent tattoos at tattoo studios in the UK, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to get them done in Poland.

UK, Ireland / English magazines about Poland in UK? [32]

Excellent - yes, I spoke to Alison when I was trying to sort out my veneers. She was really helpful. I guess I should call her - I read the article in 4Youk, but never twigged that it was her who wrote it.

UK, Ireland / English magazines about Poland in UK? [32]

Got you now :) true - if you want to go to some destination you will find needed info easily - there is no need for buying magazines.

Cool - I did try to find a copy of Discover Poland at the weekend, but didn't manage to see it anywhere.

Yet I've got one info: Thursday, 15 of May - Potters Fields Park (City Hall bank), 10am - 8pm - Polish flag signing (Euro 2008) sponsored by Tyskie beer :) should be fun!!!

Have you got any further info on that? I'd be up for that (especially if the weather is like it is today). Do we need tickets etc?

Law / Looking to open Vodka Booth in Poland [16]

But, duh, even Rockefeller first started with one small potato...

Sure - and as a businesswoman myself, I appreciate that he's got to start somewhere.

I guess he just comes across as being rather flippant in his approach -

I'm assuming I don't need a lice enss because really, Who isn't drunk on the streets of Poland?

I mean WTF?!

And where alcohol is concerned, checking out the legalities should really be his first priority, not the name or the flavours... google is his friend.....
