News / Poland 2007 Elections: PO Won, PIS second [232]

What do you specifically mean by 'base each decision on it'? Who does so? Give examples, please

"Chasing" commies, attacking Germans on their past, etc. Maybe not strictly "each" decision, but a lot.

I don't know if you're in Poland now, but here it's getting late (2:35 AM), i think it's time to go ;) Good night Puzzler.

:)

You mean: he's got power, so his critics should shut up? Those who have power are always right, is that what you mean? :)

No, you are free to think what you want ;)

What will happen isn't hard to predict.

True, it's going to be good, or at least not worse than Jaroslaw...we'll see.

Teraz, dobranoc :)

You are utterly wrong here, mon ami. In reality, looking at the past, keeping it alive as it really was, true to facts, ensures prosperous future. Forgetting or falsifying the past ensures bad future. Even Bob Marley knew that, re: 'If you don't know your history / Then you don't know where you're coming from'!
:)

I know history is important, mon ami ;) But is it really good to base each decision on it ?...We can't change the past, whereas changing the future is quite "easy"...

:)

Yeah, I can see you've read (and believe) PO Soviet-style propaganda of its leader. Yes, you're very ignorant - the Kaczynskis were prominent Solidarity actvists; Tusk was nobody compared to them.

I'm just well informed. Why are the Kaczynskis always right (for you), and Tusk not ?...Why a propaganda ?

You know what, we can talk as much as we want, Tusk is going to be PM, that's all. Then we will see what happen.

;)

My grandfather was Polish, he would never have fought for Hitler on his own, i knew him, please respect his memory, he was a good man...

Isn't it interesting that you seem to be as defensive of the Germans under Hitler as you're defensive of your grandpa? Wow, so according to you many - yep, you say many! - Germans were allegedly forced to join the Nazi party? And many - yes, you say many! - were allegedly killed for telling the Hitler government 'they didn't agree' (with what?)?! And allegedly many - you really say many!! - fought 'alongside the Allies'?! Oh boy, and where did you learn all this from? Is that what they hammer into schoolboys' heads in France nowadays?

I mean that thinking that all Germans were nazi is stupid. If you don't like the word "many", so let's replace it by "some", is it better ?...

I told you, i'm not defending Germany, but i'm just being objective. Do you really think that each German was a nazi ?...

The future looks certainly grim with ignorant folks like yourself in Europe. And yes, the dull ones often believe in bright future

Okay now i'm an ignorant, what will i be next time ?...Tell me what is so useful in always looking backward instead of looking ahead. The past was bad, i know it, you know it, we all know it. The future will be better, but looking at the past will slow down everything we could do to build a better future.

Whom do you mean by 'they'? Write clearly, please (if you can).

The Tusk's family, they, grandpa, grandma, dad, dog, hamster, everyone...

:)

Do you mean that only those to whom 'the past is the only thing that matters' should support PiS? What do you mean by that? Please explain.

Those who always look at the past are very conservative...
I know it's Kaczynski, but you know, too long for me...and i'm an ignorant ;)
I'm not going to give you my surname as i don't think it'd be useful, i'm not going to be PM or president...

Tusk had a difficult childhood. Poor family, lost his dad when he was only 13. Worked hard to earn enough to survive. And finally worked with Solidarnosc, while the Kaczynskis were making movies...(kidding ;)

When did i choose to remind somebody's past ?? You did it, i didn't...

We personnally don't judge a person on his past, but on his skills, and will to make change. But if the past is the only thing that matters to you, so okay, let's support the Kaczkis, the baby cinema stars, right ?...

Where did you get the news from, please?

And where did you get the news that they were nazi, and they fought on Hitler's side ?? Where, tell me ?!!! No propaganda, just losers thoughts, yours...

What are the problems apart from the energy issues ?...if Poland manages to stop being dependent of Russian energy, many problems would be solved...right ?

There is so many thing to criticize about PO and Tusk

I don't want to say they are perfect, but is there really nothing to criticize about PiS and the Kaczkis...?

Quite a few Nazi bandits defected to the Allies when they realised Germany had lost the war

Tusk's grandpa deserted something like in 1940, so many years before the end of the war !

Tusk was obviously hiding his grandpa's past, so it appears the past must not have been too glorious

So what ? The past is behind us, it's over. Now we have to think of a better future, stop looking over your shoulder. It's like in a car, when you're driving, if you're spending your time watching behind you, you may have a big crash. I hope Poland won't have any crash...

By the way, during the Kaczki/Tusk TV debate, Kaczki attacked him on this subject, but just like you, he forgot to tell all the truth, that his grandpa were not a nazi, and deserted the German troops (he could have been killed for that).

Oh, so you also have a Nazi family connection?

Perhaps you keep in your bedroom a life-size portrait of Hitler?

LoL i hate Hitler, please don't think i like or support him, NO WAY ! My Polish grandpa served by force Germany (my Polish family is from Silesia). He never was a nazi, and by the way was not a soldier, so i think he didn't kill anybody. He worked for them.

To finish, i hope you know that all Germans were not nazis, do you ? Many were forced to belong to the nazi party, many were killed for telling the government they didn't agree, and others fought alongside the Allies.

In time of war, you don't know how you'd react. Imagine you were born in 1920. At the beginning of 1940 you were 20, and forced to join the enemy troops. If you protested, you were just shot dead. It's so easy to criticize someone's behaviour some 60 years after...

Look in front of you, the future is brighter than the past.

:)
