I once dated a girl whose cousin once saw a Jew crossing a street in Poland with some kind of “chosen people” strut to his step.

The Polish youth suddenly emerged on the scene and even though they did not acknowledge his presence, they sure had anti-Semitism in their hearts.

True story.

Russia can only function under the rule of a totalitarian regime.

Democracy has got to be the most obscene and offensive word any Russian can ever hear.

Boris surely cemented this point.

A Mafioso-type leader is the only one that can succeed and flourish in Russia.

Vlad is one the greatest things that has happened to Russia in some time, a heavy-handed individual that terrorizes its citizens and brings stability in the same extension.

ol yeah that is some of their attitudes i guess, however i'm not crying because the Poles are going home, in fact i welcome the news

Dice my man, do you really have that much trouble in differentiating between the commercials and the play on the stupid Polak theme of the original commercial that brought us to this point.

I live outside of Poland since my youth, me voting for its current leaders is absolutely ridiculous. Only those that are directly affected by the candidates that are on the ballot should cast their votes. I am over seas and it sickens me that I have the same right as somebody that the recent winner PO policies affect. This is ********.

Give me like 5% of a real vote and I would understand.

Truth be told, I was removed from my Native land and planted on foreign soil as a young man. I was in a school in which I was but the only Pole on the grounds. I felt the psychological and physical torment associated with the demeaning word “Polak” during that time because of my last name and accent. I felt the blood drip down to my lips from my nose defending my Native land and myself as an individual whom never meant anybody there any harm yet had to get in psychical altercations because of my background and the bullies whom saw me as an easy target. You tell me then friend, how I should take the word Polak as a joke?

I damn well know I was not the only Polish individual that suffered under this moniker across the Atlantic dice, go cry your hypocritical ass to bed elsewhere.

Very poor effort from Wajda - was expecting much more from the man, especially about a movie on such a sensitive subject. Jumping from character to character especially near the end of the movie without establishing half of them was really the low point for me.

as to Nord Stream Russians sends signals that maybe they would like to build it throught Poland not by sea ... lets talk. It is better to have this gas pipe in Poland get money for transit instead of buying Russian gas form Germans. they want to talk because Finland denied acces to their part of Balitc sea.

Sadek, you bring up the Nord Stream Pipeline in thought that because of some warmer Polish relations towards Russia, Russia is all of a sudden going to drop this project. To me that is faulty logic. The pipeline project might be delayed and the cost of it will surely be elevated, but in the end, it will come to fruition in my opinion. I was just curious why you are so adamant that it will not?
