as to me I don't understand why today you are so self confident ... Geraly Russia have made several concessions for free (warm words) or for promises ;) Do you remeber your opinions about embargo on Poland or Polish veto on Russia ? Russia even don't protest against US shield ;)

I am very suspicious in this case ;) as many Poles but to this moment everything is ok. Russians after telling stories about their nukes started to be nice ... very strange.

Russia is our neighbour and we have to talk to them ... and as you see without any concessions we achieved a lot just because we talked to them. USA talks to Russia. Croatia talks to Serbia. Japan talks to China. Vietnam talks to USA.

yes Russians wanted to force some concessions but we said no and now Russians want to talk so lets talk.

as to Nord Stream Russians sends signals that maybe they would like to build it throught Poland not by sea ... lets talk. It is better to have this gas pipe in Poland get money for transit instead of buying Russian gas form Germans. they want to talk because Finland denied acces to their part of Balitc sea.

I think it is easy to understand when we look on English history and their imput in Africa Asia ... history. That is why they do what they can to show "bad" face of Poland but most of their posts are sign of their ignorance. Because Istahu in some discussions agreed that we had communism not because Polish commies went to bed with Stalin ... but now he started to repeat this BS and he reapts other BS without looking on facts that this issues were discussed before (with him) the same Wroclaw boy

my godness this thread is about Polish on WWII and we were 4th force on this war but I see only brits who starts to talk about Poles who collaborated (mostly native Germans with Polish citizesship or miniorities who were forced to serv in Wermaht like Kashubians or Silesians)

if you look from USA perspective yes you are right but we are not USA, Polish "real policy" looks much different ;-) I think that nommination to OSCAR is much more important.

what is important Russians agreed to show this movie in Russia on the most important Russian film festivals and in normal cinemas, it is good sign ... this example shows freedom of speach in Russia (you need gov permition to show movie) but all in all we have little succes in contacts with our eastern neighbour.

you have normal company you pay ZUS yourself but when you are selfemployed you can ask for more money form your "school" a lot of people do so and maybe it is less comfortable than being employed in normal way but you have more money and freedom.

I am not sure how it looks in schools but so many people work in this way that schools shouldn't be problem (private schools) and it isn't any kind of "dark" business just reallity ;) there are some regulations and you should to ask lawer about it.

you can work as "company" and you pay 19% flat tax ... private school is company you are company and you get orders form school for your comany ;) and both sides are happy.

as to level of life I think that when you work as cashier in USA and in Poland you have absolutly better life in USA. When you work as Englis teacher in Poland and in USA you have better life in Poland.

do you consider yourself native English/american speakers ? I don't and I cant earn 150 PLN per hour 60$ per/h (because I know market) but lets say 25 $ in Poland ... hmmm life is confortable ... much better than for 25$ per hour in USA ... it is great opportunity and some Brits takes it and are satisfied I just posted propostion for American Poles who know English (native level) ... I am not telling to move with whole family but just go for half year contract and check it ;) ... you will stay ... all I want to say is that some of you can check it

what I want to add 60 PLN = 24$ per/h isn't great opportunity you will get it without any problems

Putin agreed lets talk about Katyn and close this page ... I think it is good. Generaly this whole "show" about promoting culture, talking about hard history and making some concessions has some reasons. we will see what will happen (in this case I am not going to tell what I think ;) ).
