News / What do Polish friends think of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? [226]

During the election campaign Hillary Clinton exposed lying about coming under Serbian sniper fire during her trip to Bosnia

Yeah, shes a total liar and a crook
She isnt going to win, her party is already calling for her to step down

Good riddance!

Language / A good learning book for Polish [44]

I am using that now.

Same here, I also have the rosetta stone program but it gets confusing at times,
it doesnt explain anything in English..( only pictures)

What is a good follow up book that will get into greater detail of the polish language?

I like to find one too, when I`m ready:)

UK, Ireland / Are the Poles in England hated? [450]

Polish drivers - some of them drive okayish when they're here, but then turn into total lunatics the moment they cross the border returning home

I had to drive when I was in Ireland, needless to say people were yelling
things at me..... and it wasnt to say hi:)

Those roundabout things...omg
I did improve with time:)

UK, Ireland / Are the Poles in England hated? [450]

It's just a pity that people focus on the negative comments from the UK members here or the negative comments in the British media.

Its always easier to point fingers at someone else when theres a problem,

I like the Polish coming here I have a little country inside a city,
if that makes sense?

I have Polish stores, restaurants, pubs..etc
and lets not froget about all the beautiful ladies:)

Ok.... I have one complaint
some you guys have to learn how to drive....lol

Forget the UK! Come to the U.S where you are not hated. I can't say loved because to be honest, there is just no thought about it. Even with an accent you blend in.

Most Americans dont have any problem with the Poles coming here:)

Now if you want to talk about Mexicans?????

Thats a whole different story

History / WWII planes in Poland [38]

Wathing th jets go by was cool and you could see the pilots.

They pack the beaches with over 1 million ppl per day, crazy but fun:)

I have a 22 ft trailer I could take up to Oshkosh Yet with fuel prices I may have to stand on the side of the road and beg for fuel.

Its getting ridiculos, cant wait it gets warmer so I can get the motorcycle out!
Camping is the best way to go up there:)

Maybe you can getme some tickets some time to an event

You should come up for Taste of Polonia in August

History / WWII planes in Poland [38]

Yeah I just show them my ID but I can get tickets also.

I`m thinking about going up there this summer, they have a real nice campground
there. I like it because you can get close to the planes.

Its better than Chicagos show which gets way overcrowded
but it is cool watching the F-16`s flying around the buildings:)
