History / Polish Jews - they changed their Jewish surnames to Polish [532]

what are or were our Twin Teletubby leaders ?

Ducks......

you are not a real jew then if you don't like money and aren't rich

Generalization.

2 years ago in France, a Jew were kidnapped, bad treated, and killed. The reason : he was Jewish, so he must be rich. The truth was that he was very poor. Cruel story.

They have a plan

Tell me, poor ignorant dude, what is their plan.

Do you know how hard it is to become a lawyer for the average polish non-jew ? Once you have completed the 6 years of studying law, you will need to pay an unaffordable amount by the average polish family...yes pay a law firm to give you an apprenticeship for another 2 years. This makes it impossible unless you are already rich or are jewish.

You are taking few examples to generalize ! Did you know that there are middle-class and poor Jews too ?

What is for you the definition of "anti-semitism" ?...

YOUR EITHER BLIND OR STUPID....ITS ACTUALLY A WELL KNOWN FACT....GO AND DO SOME RESEARCH FIRST AND PROVIDE MORE THAN 2 LETTERED INPUTS TO THE DISCUSSION

I don't blame you Grzegorz. You're simply blind to the realities of life. The reality IS that most of Polands government is manned by people of Jewish decent. FACT!

What magic brought them where they are ? I don't care if they're Jewish, they are Polish, that's all. What matters is that they are doing good jobs, and that Poland is good, and getting better everyday. These Jews studied and worked to become part of the government.

To finish, they are not all Jews anyway. Tusk is not for example.

News / The new Polish Minister of Finance is British [29]

You know, all they possible were Slavs or part of Slavic cultural area.

...not really, the Skandis are from Germanic tribes, as the Netherlands, Germany, etc. England is a mix of Germanic tribes (Anglo-Saxons, Danes, even Norwegians for the Northern part), French Normans, etc. And Italy in latin country...i'm sorry to tell you all this, but that's the truth. I can add that even the Poles are not all 100% slavic : germanic (German, Swedish, maybe Danish and Norwegian too), tatar, etc.

USA is based on Anglo-Saxon and Jewish heritage

For the Jewish heritage, it concerns Poland as well.

EU on Semitio-German heritage in general

What ?

considering that western parts of Europe for thousands of years exploited Slavs

In the past, Poland were a powerful country (Poland-Lithuania), no exploitation...
The EU is really good for Poland, you can't deny it.

Ireland, Wells and Scotland [...] There is great possibility that they choose Slavdom

Scandinavian countries, possible would choose Slavdom too, same as Hungary

Northern Italy already choosed Slavdom

I thought that Slavdom was a union of slavic countries, slavic cultures...why would the Skandi countries choose Slavdom, as well as Northern Italy, and Ireland, Wales, Scotland ?...

The UE is .... more mixed

You get the point. Like with finger in the eye

Personnally i feel great in the EU, and i think that Poland too (most of the Poles are happy with that, and they're right). Now Poland has more and more nice roads, highways, etc. thanks particularly to the EU funds, and that's great. The best and most beautiful highway i was on, was the A4 (i think) from Wrocław to Gliwice by sundown...it was like driving on an airport track, it was amazing ;)

...So Spain, Italy and Portgual should join a "Latindom", Germany, the Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands, England...should join a "Germanicdom", and so on...

The UE is good enough, and more mixed in term of culture and religions.

Genealogy / Wojtczak SURNAME - question for native Polish speakers [11]

Also, my aunties used to call me Helenka (I loved that!)

The -ka ending is a diminutive, you know, like John -> Johnny ;)

At the beginning the -ski ending was for the noblemen...some centuries ago, people wanted to look like noblemen (LoL) so they took names with -ski ending too...

Life / The romance of an unknowable country ... Poland - my story [35]

Wow, your story is so beautiful !
Now we are in 2007, have you been back there since the end of the communism ? Cause things have changed so much......
I go in Poland every year, and i must say that it's almost different each time i go there. In comparison to the Communism era, now there are big malls, shops, very nice cars (really, and sometimes better than French ones (i'm French))...

Anyway, i'm happy everytime i go there ;)

Life / Homosexuals in Poland / Hands off (PETITION) [797]

Homosexuality is not all about sex jareck8, like heterosexuality.
And if you care that much of human reproduction, then what about the heteros that don't want children even though they could. It's a choice, a way of life, another way of thinking, it's something different you have some difficulties to understand. I respect everybody's choices, if they don't hurt me, everything's okay. Everyone has the right to live his own life without being judged, i don't care if you decide to raise pigs in a farm tomorrow morning, if it's what you want, then why should i judge you ?... ;)
