News / Revenge or Justice? Vetting Laws in Poland [18]

but what about people that were involved because of threat to their families ect... Im not nieve enough to think that all were involved for these reasons but I dont honestly see anything good coming out of it...

Let sleeping dogs lie and get one with life thats what I say...anger breeds hatred and thats not the right direction for an up and coming country to go, but thats an outsiders view

The only Polish club (been there for many many years) I know in Manchester is one that old men frequent on Cheetham Hill Road...not exactly the kind of place the young and happening people hang out.

Life / Polish hooliganism in sport [141]

Untrue.......how many English firms do you know??? :) trust me hooligans are a dying breed in the UK people dont really get that involved in it these days...its rather old hat as we say here in the UK, maybe a few losers still trying to hang on to it but in general hooligans are considered a bit pathetic and thats by people that used te be in to it themselves...as for the younger ones, they cant afford to travel up and down the country let alone afford a season ticket for the games....hooligans have had their day in the UK...maybe a few trouble causers at matches but nothing like it used to be, Poland are bit behind the times if they think its cool to be a hooligan....

Probably from abusing the privilege. No?

They can drink at half time in the bars in the grounds but nothing whilst they are seated..

slwkk, trust me it will get better, years ago in the UK it was terrible but things have improved with time...

Polska is correct - but in the UK they seem to have grown out of it...only a few die-hards left...Plenty in Prague though saw it kick off at a football game a few years back when I was there watching Sparta Prague...the thing with the Police over is they dont mess about, battons out and in full steam ahead!

They dont allow drinking at football in the stands anymore here.

Hooligans are a different breed, they still exsist in the UK but no where near as much as in the 80s and 90s - just grown men who like to fight each other nothing more Mr F...

UK, Ireland / Brit Youths Protest Anti-Gay Poland [114]

My point on "cute chinese babies" was aimed at the new fashion accessory of the stars who seem to think that it's "cool" to have an ethnic child, there are children in the UK and US who are just as in need for a loving home as those in foreign countries, abuse and poverty is prevalent in both countries and children suffer, but this seems to be overlooked.

how about white english parents adopting a black english child... how does this come into the equation...?

Ideally; and this is probably my personal point of view, I think children should be placed with parents of the same ethinic background but if that's not possible due to the lack of people wanting to adopt then I again I think that a loving home is the most important thing.

Im not...twas Mr G's idea of a joke writing that (mental note to have a word with Mr G, next time he's on)

As for adoption I agree with Mr F, people should look at adopting children in their own country before they starting looking at cute chineese babies....As for Bubs point...I think that a child just deserves to be loved if that happens to be by two people who the same sex then thats fine by me, as I have stated here on the board, I have two gay (male) friends who foster children and are doing a sterling job in doing so, they give respite to parents that cannot cope with difficult children and they give stability and love to the children they foster - their sexuality has not bearing on this and the kids they foster dont seem to care one way or the other.

Life / Polish hooliganism in sport [141]

My point was actually I would rather have hooligans than the crime that has replaced it....

The foreign gangs that control - drugs trafficing, human trafficing, extortion..I could go on but I wont,.....

Is that what you reckon? I personally dont think we have learnt anything....hooligans I can live with, gun crime and organised crime has increased....that I cant live with....rescources were concentrated on one thing, pardon the pun but they took their eye off the ball and now we have much worse problems than a few blokes kicking shi* out of each other on a Saturday afternoon.

Mindless idiots, I hate in my own country and I hate it here, it brings shame on your own country because these people are in a minority and decent people are disgusted by these actions. Glorifying it only shows the low-level of humanity that people like this have. Let’s hope Admin has enough sense to take this off !!!

Hooliganism is virtually a thing of the past in the UK, its nothing like the 80s and 90s..

UK, Ireland / Change my mind about poles in the uk [42]

This is really pain getting stereotyped, you dont know this feeling and I hope you are never gonna experience it

Hmm where do I start..

1) English women are all easy
2) English women cant cook
3) English women all lazy
4) English women all fat
5) English women not very educated

These are a few Mike and I understand from a friend who is Polish that Polish men think this about English women but I dont really care because none of these apply to me...stereotypes are just that....they dont fit all...

My only advice is if you dont like them dont talk to them, simple

because there was many english who applyed for this job but I seemed the best for menagement and I got this position, after that some of them stopped smileing at me or saying hello same as those idiots in your factory or where ever you work...

so we are agreed there are ass holes on both sides....

See teashoci, you labled all Polish people as being rude and not wanted in this country, but when i say something about you, you get defensive. So what did you expect to get from your post?

Lisa, they guy openly admitted that he tried to be nice and welcome Polish people only to be me with hostility and ignorant behaviour, what can you expect him to say......and why should be visitors in the UK abuse people who were born here...also how many Polish people do you know, because I dont know that many they dont tend to mix with foreigners......

darwinawards.com is good to prove my point.

But Im talking about every-day people and their opinions..

No. But I can go for punching someone right about now :)

Do you practice it?

With strangers too? hahaha could be funny on nthe 1st of every month.

generally with close friends, I get my mate every month!! all you have to do is say "a pinch & punch (whilst pinching and punching them) for the 1st of the month - hey depending on how much you like or dislike is how hard or soft you do it ....you have to say "no backsies" if you dont they can do it back to you......HOW CHILDISH AM I???? it gets quite competitive people trying to remember each month to get you first :) Im way to fast for that :)...
