Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

So you were messing with a less complicated version of ouija table. I've heard that it can be very dangerous. Hadn't you seen what happened to the girl from "The Exsorcist"?

thats not funny as it had happened for real.i couldn't sleep in this room afterwards.i was alone in the room lying in dark on the bed when i heard something fell on the floor.i checked it .it was a box of maches which i put in the middle of the table earlier on.i ran out of this bloody room and refused to come back there:)

if i remember when u call a ghost u have to call it off after the session but we were so scared that we didn't.i just wonder if this gohst is still there

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

that's true.i do believe in ghostswhen i was younger meand my friend were trying to call ghosts from beyond their graves and we did it, belive it or not.it was very scary. we didn't hear it we didn't see it and it answered by moving a plate on the table(we didn't touch anything but the plate was moving !).the plate had 2 marks on it on opposite side.2 words were written on opposite side of the table too(yes and no).since then i never did again

Work / Italian girl moving to Poland, where I can ask for a job? [60]

Undoubtedly poles are good at businesses, the point I was trying to make poles, are going to GB to make money, people from GB are coming to Poland to make money, ironical iisn"t it.

it is not.poles are going to uk to make some money but brits are going to poland with their money to make some more money and that's the main difference but it will change soon.most of the brits going to poland are skilled. i didn't see to many english brick layers in poland

Try vodka for breakfast, with cream and sugar.

btw- mods - check that guy`s IP to see if he`s not lef.

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

lef .i am on nobodys side.i agree with u if u r rght or disagree if u r not. why do u expect me to keep my mouth shut if u write a that something that sounds like -only idiots can drink vodka-only because u don't like that stuff.i like vodka and drink it now and again.it has taste but i don't drink it to taste it but for the feeling after a few shots.i am sure this is the reason why u drink a wine or beer too but u wouldn't admit it. drinking alcohol free wine or beer wouldn't be the same would it? i wrote what i wrote cos your attitude and i wanted to hurt u a bit:) i have got nothing against the aussies drinks.cheers. bottoms up

Drinking is not one of my high points, I'm a very light drinker, last drink of vodka was 2 years ago....(don't like the stuff) carn't see why anybody would drink that stuff?

what an ignorant bastard.i drink vodka and enjoy it much more than some australian beer which tastes like kangaroo pee live alone cheap and disguisting australian wine. i would rather drink my urine than that stuff.

POLISH VODKA 40% RULES!

Work / Is it possible to get to Polang and bring my dollars to set a business here? [8]

I don't think if u can get the Polish citizenship just because u have buckets of dollars.it takes a few years of probation period.u may apply for a business visa and then set up your business in Poland and bring your family there.i think cos u r from an Arab country of not very good reputation in the western world(terrorism) u may expect your application and yourself to be double-checked before visa is granted.

I was supprised that a lot of hatred is shown against the pakistanis in england,

cos they represent the worst things in islam.
i think there is more problems with pakistanis than with other muslim groups(arabs, turks, africans) in the uk together

UK, Ireland / BEWARE when coming over UK [363]

How do you know most are exploited? I have worked with many Polish who get the same pay and conditions as British people.

i don't feel sorry for the polish people who came here and had to go back penniless to poland.this is a free job market here in the uk and if someones skiils are not needed here or they haven't got any they shouldn't be cried for.i find disguisting what job agencies are doing at the moment.they take virtually everyone on the board without proper checking a few things like:if they have an experience for the jobs they r offered,if they can speak even a few words in english so that they can do simple things on their own ie.if they are thretened, exploited, can they report it to the police?if their behavior and personal hygiene is up to standards.my company is quite ok in this matter.most of the polish people broutght in here from agencies are young, skilled and hard working but a few times i saw a few smelly DRUNKS who were allowed to work in food industry.unfortunately this kind of people are most likely to stay in mindes of some english poeple and there you go that's the picture of the whole society so i'd rather see them go back to poland.

so i think that some kind of natural selection is good for everyone.everyone should be given a chance but for their own risk

yeah, what can I say, indianpolish girl was just playing around

i am not trying to deny it.my quote was referring to the topic u posted.now u can see that officially australians are smiling all the time but when their identity is not known they can say a few a few bitter words.what i am saying is that racism was is and will be in EVERY country in a similar share but it some countries poeople are afraid to speak up

Wujek_Dobra_Rada
the hole thing is very interesting cos a lot of people reckon that the poles as a nation are not really diverse.i myself have some ukrainian blood.i remember my grandma told me that her grand grand mother was ukrainian.my friend told me that his family came from kazahstan.our borders changed throughout centuries so did people.so the main idea of the EU(the right to travel and seetle in any country of the EU,free trade ect) started ages ago not in the 20th century:)

History / POLAND BEFORE 966 [27]

i remember from school that poland was christianed in this year, not a lot i know:)before this time our country was divided and there were a lot of pogan tribes who fought each other till someone united them(was it mieszko-the 1st king/prince of poland?). i just wonder if whose tribes were all slavic ore some were germanic/anglo-saxon/norman for example.have they lived there for ages or they came and settled in poland short time before 966.the question maybe silly, but if you know hungarians speak the language which is complitely different to any of european languages.i read somwhere that they are from india(?).another example-gipsies,there is a story about them that they was a nation/cast/tribe which lived in india but ran away from there cos some kind of problems.

anyone knows something about poland before 966?

Life / Living in Poland without working? - Your opinion [63]

probally about 3000zl a month.(couple)

is it not what i said?
for warsaw it is not enough for a couple to live a good life.you can't do anything apart from surviving.of course it is possible to survive for 1500zl/per month but this is not the point

A primary school teacher earns 900zl a month and now I am hearing that you need 5000zl to live a comfortable lifestyle,

mind you the cost of renting a flat in warsaw used to be about 1000zl/month( i am not what it is now) so to survive two people must work.

if you are thinking of living a simple life in a small town 2500-3000 zl a month would do but this doesn't include extra costs

there you go

Life / Living in Poland without working? - Your opinion [63]

lets put it that way.if you want to live in a big city like warsaw-it will cost you a lot but if you want to live in a small town or village thas much less.

lets put aside cost of buing a house/flat.
it also depends if you like eating out or cooking at home,if you like travelling ,flashy cars ect.
if you are thinking of living a simple life in a small town 2500-3000 zl a month would do but this doesn't include extra costs like lets say eating out and holidays abroad.

another question is if you have a big family or you are alone.
i am not sure about a cost of living in big cities-probably 4000-5000zl would be enough

The mass exodus of Poland's best and brightest young people to Britain - about half a million are estimated to have come here - is beginning to cause alarm back home.

i read it already but what it has to do with the question asked by opts?
he doesn't ask about how much polish people earn but how much to take to live a good life in poland WITHOUT struggling

News / Poland in big development - what are the negative results? [37]

Quoting: guest-iwona, Post #23
I wouldn't say I extremely like England but there are much more opportunities for people here- and at least less nepotyzm than in Poland at finding good job.

To enjoy England you need to experience the good parts - Cambridge in summer,Hitchin free festival,Brighton,Cornwall,Devon, best parts of London etc.

truebrit the problem is that we are a nation of moaners,we keep moaning even if we shouldn't. we have a saying in poland which says it all:

"najlepiej jest tam gdzie nas nie ma" which roughly translates to : it is always better somwhere else(anyone can translate it more accurately?). if we are in poland we moan about poland if we are in england we moan about england if we....ect.

nowhere is perfect but i find england a very nice country compared lets say to germany
