but, while they deal with Slavic south using `soft power` (``learning us democracy and multiculturalism``), they creating hostile narco-Muslim-terrorist states on Balkan, weaken us.

No, Slavija shall respond by strengthening its economy and then opening internet, Radio and TV media that promote truth about violant assimilation of Slavs, that promote Slavic values and freedom.

Then, when so called west start to crumble, one by one new Slavic states needs to be created on liberated Slavic west, east and south. We should once and for all recupirate Slavija.

on the end, as result... We even don`t need neceserely Slavic unity or alliance. What we need is simple- Slavic civilization. Free and green world, world worth of modern man, world worth of living in dignity, hope of woman and man in balance with nature. It would prepare our children for jump into cosmic era.

Russian Orthodox Church only which was always a political tool of czars

yes, it was so often on Slavic west, unfortunately. ROC failed there.

On Slavic South, where Ottoman Turks invaded, ROC played positive role. But look, Polish Catholics same as Russian Orthodox saved us. In fact, let`s be realistic, it was Slavija in Poles and in Russians that saved us. Here, Slavija was key for both- Poles and Russians.

BDW, Pan Borrka! Pan-Serbian initiative already made steps in order to weaken negative effects of ROC interests on Slavic west and redirect it in dirrection which would serve to our mutual interests- to complete Slavija. Main goal of Balkan and Lusatian Serbs is to coordinate in liberation, to repel invasion of Germanic and Islamic foes, to annul historical pressure on Serbian lands as first line of Slavic world on our western and southern borders. Serbs (Balkan and Lusatian) seek for help from both- Polish Catholics and Russian Orthodox. Our first goal is creation of independent Lusatian state and liberation of Kosovo-Metohija.

Serbian (Balkan Orthodox Serbs) inteligentsia already taking steps to promote interests of Lusatians in circles of Russian Orthodox Church. It is suggested that ROC promote its tolerance and solidarity with Catholic and Protestant Slavs (without any conditions- simple over pure Christian solidarity and slavophilia) by helping to Catholic and Protestant Lusatian Serbs.

Serbian inteligentsia also made steps in order to permanently penetrete idea of Lusatian liberation in Serbian (Balkan) academic and political circles. Pan-Serbian circles are alarmed and called to help (numerous Slavs who have Serbian blood- from centuries of Serbian refuges in other Slavic countries/example- Racowie`s origin) in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Czeska, Slovakia and Lithuania.

Christian Slavija shall prevail, not Eurabia. Serbians preparing large scale respond.

Bottom line is (to give you picture)- when dust settle down, after respond on this old/new `Drang Nach Osten`, i don`t see space for German state on map of Europe, so Poland would obviously expand.

But, Poland wouldn`t be border country of Slavic world anymore Would be, to say that way, deeper `in Slavic inland`, if you understand me.... some other slavic countries needs to be ctreated and liberated.

One of last gifts of Yugoslavia to Slavic world was Rastko Project Internet Library (still active thanks to Serbia) which seek to online promote and defend global Slavic interests.

So, i understand why so called west (EU and NATO) with their friends from Islamic league (muja world) hate Serbs that much. Simple, everything what can be saved from Eurabia would be saved. Everything what is Western would be saved inside of borders of Slavic civilization.

you can`t be serious. Borka Pan you maybe suggest that you have more chances to drink with some Catholic German then with me who are St. Sava`s Orthodox and plus worship SLAVA.

You suggest that Catholic German who is same as any Protestant German, in general just former Slav (particulary Northern Serb), care for universalism when deal with Catholic Pole. Catholic German can give only one chance to Catholic Pole > chance to acccept germanization or to be elliminated. That`s your chances with universal Catholic Germans. My grandmother is more universal then any Catholic German. Old lady can drunk with your grandmother better then any Catholic old lady from Germany.

secund. Orthodox Church in Serbia has nothing with ruling establishment in Serbia. Official Serbian state is now, same as official Poland loyal to Germany. But you see, Serbian Orthodox Church don`t follow policy of pro-German Serbian governmant. Our Church is, to say that way, more loyal to people then to state.

Also, Serbian Orthodox Church was that force which encouraged our people to stay loyal to Poland, no matter that Poles are mostly Catholics. Polish and Serbian medieval nobility intermeried by the bless of Serbian Orthodox Church (example- Polish Jadwiga is of Serbian origin). Or take example of campaigns of Serbian light cavalry who were known as Racowie in Hungary and Poland. All was by the bless of Serbian Orthodox Church. Numerous antic and medieval codes of laws, books... which were [first translated in Serbia from Latin and Greek, then in other Slavic countries!] was translated in Polish and Russian and delivered to Poles/Russians by the representatives of Serbian Orthodox Church or by nobility- again by the bless of our Church.

I can remind myself that my priest once told me that Poland is great Slavic nation. My priest told me that Catholic Church in Poland played always important role in Pollish national uprising, that Catholic Church in Poland always regarded Polish national identity and that it is completely different situation with Catholic Poles then with Catholic Croats (i had few questions for my spiritual father).

Fact that Serbian Orthodox Church ignored `fact` that Poles are Catholics presented great level of universalism. Whenever Serbs gave a lot of to Poles, Poles gave a lot of to Serbs. Whenever some Pole betrayed Serbs, he was regularely traitor of Poles, too.

actualy, from the Serbian perspective both- Polish and Russian sound similar to Serbian in same level. To us, Serbian sound as language that is between Polish and Russian, in the middle. i think that it represent and official position of linguistic science

Serbian languages still preserved old logic of ancients. For us (in our epic poetry) Poles are known as Ledjani (People from the Ice, from North). Russians obviously descending from Scythians. SKITATI on Serbian means WONDERING, so > Scythians > Wonderers, Nomads (on Eng.). Also, Celts (on Serbian sound `Selti`) mening `people who wondering`, wonderers`.

realy, in reality Celts were `Wonderers, Nomads` and realy they were in history remembered as branch of Scytians.

Logic of Serbian lingusistics absolutely support historical realty.

I am absolutely sure that Proto-Slavs splited on two branches already before Ice Age was finished. When arrived in Europe (Balkan), i gues (minimum) some 15-20.000 years Proto-Slavs were known as Sarmatians. In old homeland, somwhere on Near-East or Eurasia, Scythians separated from Sarmatians. That`s why for our kind they were called Scythians (Nomads), on Serbian `SKITAČI`.

and realy, agricultural knowladge was invented by Sarmatians. It is they who revealed secret of farming from the west of Europe to the Ind River. Shall i remind you of SVASTIKA and KOLOVRAT?

yes, yes... Russians are of Scythian branch and Poles of Sarmatian. Both of them in same level were connected with Balkan as first Proto Slavic center on European soil.

In general, modern day Serbians are closer to the Poles then to Russians considering that Balkan on the first place was Sarmatian center. On the other side, Celtic component in Serbians makes them Scythians in the same time. Serbians (both- Lusatian and Balkan) are important because they preserved in use first orriginal name of all Slavs- Sarmatian name. As official linguistic science confirmed name of Serbians probably sound and has same meaning as name of Sarmatians.

Look how this Net creature talk about Serbs. Serbs don`t obey nor to Russians, nor to anybody else. In our history we f**** all who deserve to be f****. Serbians gave greatest resistance to Soviets, greater then Poles or Ukrainains. Serbs criticized Soviets for all what they done, we spat in face of worse communist scum. We send message to Soviets that we don`t consider them for Russians, we believed that Russians can beat communism. Serbians encouraged resistance of all other Slavs to Soviet Union.

Sorbs

The very existence of the Sorbs, a Slavic minority in Germany, may be a surprise to many.

No reliable statistics are available as to the number of Sorbian speakers today and their distribution. The traditional figure is 100,000. It is estimated, however, that only about 30,000 people are able to use the language, virtually all of whom speak German too. Indeed, one of the results of long years of bilingualism among the Sorbs has been that Sorbian no longer serves as an essential language of communication in the region.

Lower Sorbian (dolnoserbski) is spoken in the marshy Spree Forest of Lower Lusatia around the town of Cottbus (Chosebuz), about one hundred kilometres southeast of Berlin. It is used by far fewer people than Upper Sorbian and seems to be well on the road to extinction.

Together with Czech, Slovak, Polish, Kashubian and the now extinct Polabian language, Sorbian constitutes part of the Western group of Slavic languages.

Historical Germanisation

Early Germanisation went along with the Ostsiedlung during the Middle Ages, e.g. in Hanoverian Wendland, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Lusatia and other areas, formerly inhabited by Slavic tribes - Polabian Slavs such as Obotrites, Veleti and Sorbs. Relations of early forms of germanization was described by German monks in manuscripts like Chronicon Slavorum.

Lüchow-Dannenberg is better known as the Wendland, a designation referring to the Slavic people of the Wends from Slavic tribe Drevani - the Polabian language survived until the beginning of the 19th century in what is now the German state of Lower Saxony.

Drang nach Osten

Drang nach Osten (German for "yearning for the East", "thrust toward the East", "push eastward", "drive toward the East" or "desire to push East") was a term coined in the 19th century to designate German expansion into Slavic lands.

In some historical discourses, "Drang nach Osten" combines historical German settlement in Eastern Europe, medieval military expeditions like the ones of the Teutonic Knights, and Germanisation policies and warfare of Modern Age German states like the Nazi lebensraum concept. In Poland, the term ties in with nationalist discourse that put the Polish nation in the role of a suffering nation, particularly at the hands of the German enemy, while on the German side the slogan was part of a wider nationalist discourse celebrating achievements like the medieval settlement in the east and the inherent idea of the superiority of German culture.

The Lusatian Sorbs remained independent to a large extent. They were temporarily subdued by Charlemagne, but upon his death the links with the Franks were broken. In a series of bloody wars between 929 and 963 their lands were conquered by King Henry the Fowler and his son Otto the Great and were incorporated into the Kingdom of Germany. By the 14th century, the majority of Slavs living there had been Germanized and assimilated. However, the Sorbs, the descendants of the Milceni and the Lusici, have retained their identity within Lusatia, a region divided between the German states of Brandenburg and Saxony.

Despite their willing conversion to Christianity, the Slavic language was spoken by the descendants of the Drevani in the area of the lower Elbe until the early 18th century.

well,...

In honor to all fallen western Slavs that died in medieval massacres, as a result of so called `Drive to the East` (Drang Nach Osten), I suggest that all of us give one minute of silence to those martyrs. Let me as a Serb from Balkan suggest that after that minute of silence melody and words of Polish ROTA reach as preyer hearts of our Lord Jesus Christ and his beloved Mother.

No, my intention here is not to call on violance and revenge but to warn what happened in past so that younger generations remember and that future generations avoid same destine.

here it is... [Serb from South stand for the Serbs of North, Racowie stand for Poles and for all other western Slavs.... eternal peace to all who died just because they were Slavs and defended their way of life]... pozdrav (salute)...

first of all Polish nation is more homogenous, at least most of Polish citizens are Slavs. German nation consists from assimilated Slavs and from who knows whom (to put cross on myself)

Then, let us speak realisticaly... it is impossible that majority of German citizens abanden Germany and chose Poland for final destination, for eternal resting place. I would personaly expect that there are better chances that Germany collapse then that most of Germans abanden Germany. ;)

Yes, if Germany become ugly place for living, there are chances that German citizens turn to ideologies which would guide them in return to their Slavic ancestry, as i already said.

Aha...and your answer is conquering western Europe and to assimilate the Germanics?
That makes you different to the "false westerners, the Turks, the islamic world" how exactly?

but, Slavs are different, true representatives of West. Slavs don`t need to assimilate anybody in Germany when most of Germans are assimilated Slavs.

Why is that impossible to you to imagine that situation can change that dramatically, that Slavs stop to immigrate on so called West (particularly in Germany) and to instead of that German citizens start to immigrate into Poland, Russia, Serbia,...?

Then, in one moment, when crisis of German economy and society escalates, easily, somebody from some territories (being aware of his Slavic ancestry) of today`s Germany may understand that it is time that absurd called `Germany` finishes... and then... collapse of Germany, territories declaring independence, joining to Poland or Czeska, etc options. Of course, positive propaganda of Polish radio in case with German Slavic origin can accelerate process of disintegration of German state. :)

Let us now continue to read more, how German state (not only German state, as we can note) was created/profited on occupy ground of defeated Slavs...

The year 1169 also marked the entry of Denmark into the affairs of Slavia. After 1181 the Danes began extending their control, first over Norlalbingia, then over Rostock and Mecklenburg, and finally over Pomerania.

Many Wends died in these battles, which perhaps caused more damage in Slavia than the invasions of the previous generation.

The Drive to the East slowed in the fourteenth century and was all but spent by 1400. The fourteenth century was essentially a period of consolidation, with minor victories and minor reversals.

The second question with which we began asked why there was so much violence associated with the Drive to the East. We have been at some length to show that the facile explanations offered by most historians up to now, concerning Saxon avarice and the so-called natural bigotry and greed of the Christian Church,l6 are inadequate and misleading. First of all, it is difficult to say if the violence between the Germans and Wends was exceptionally bloody. The tales of massacres, treachery, and tortures related in the chronicles...

you are not serious. i do not propose agression but respond on agression, talk about agression on Slavic world that is fact from past and modern day reality. In the same time i expect that collapse of Greater Germany occur peacefully in slow process

But, that what you just said only giving me opportunity to underline that Serbs resisted to all of them: to Byzantine Empire, to Turks, to Germans... that`s how it was back in past, that`s how it is today. Only methods differ

by anology and by all what`s going on in continuity in (at least!) 1000 years we can note that all those invaders on Serbs has common interest to defeat us. In general, they (Turks, Islamic world, Germans, complete so called west) are all united when it comes the moment to deal with Slavs. Hate on Slavs unites them, greed for vast Slavic resources and desire to assimilate our beautiful people.

Listen, my intention is to give information to those who would like to know

Why close eyes in front of fact that `Drive to the East` (Drang Nach Osten) existed and still exist? It`s wrong and reactions of some people here is proof of false moral in modern day Europe.

When power of German economy start seriously to drop, when propaganda of that state become rediculous... it is expected that numerous former Slavs found salvation in Slavija,... seeking for their ancestral heritage

I believe, Poland should be neighbors with Greece and Serbia should be a part of Poland.

better part of Poland then part of Turkey, Greater Albania, Greater Hungary or Greater Germany.

In Poland, Serbians would always be on their own, respected for all what they done for creation of new mighty Polish state, which anyway incline to Sarmatian heritage.

Only Serbian condition for entering into realm of Polish state should be demand for neutralty of Poland on current military alliances (to go out of NATO). In the perspective, Serbians would expect full independance of new state (Polish Sarmatia) what would neceserely exclude membersip in EU. Good relations with both- western Europe and Russia would be supported by Serbians.

It was not merely that, by 1150, Slavia was passing under German control, but that the princes who were now beginning to control Slavia were consciously trying to attract settlers; they were making the land itself more attractive, economically and legally, to the Lowlanders than was their own land. That was the crucial factor: the attractiveness of the newly won land.

The Wendish Crusade also drove Wends off the land, especially in Brandenburg.

Albert the Bear inherited Brandenburg in 1157, and two years later helped secure his control by bringing in large numbers of colonists who had experience with draining land.43 Margrave Albert "had them live in the strongholds and villages of the Slavs."

Of the three basic forms of the Drive to the East, colonization and settlement had the most far-reaching effects.

if that is the way to end long and continual process of German `Drive to the East` (Drang Nach Osten), if German state fails to prove its democratic and non-agressive orrientation, i am all for it. Maybe that is the only solution for peace in Europe

Only thirteen years after Urban's sermon to the Franks, a call went out from Germany for a crusade into Slavia. The call came in the form of a letter from the prelates of Saxony--of Magdeburg, Merseburg, Meissen, Naumburg, Havelberg, and Brandenburg--and the lay princes of those areas, addressed to the laymen and churchmen of the lands immediately to the west: Halberstadt, Corvey, Paderborn, Minden, Cologne, Lorraine, Flanders, Aachen, and Lüttich.... The call ends by pointing out how rich the land was in Slaviaand suggesting that the crusaders could not only save their souls but also win for themselves some choice lands.

The Wendish Crusade is significant in one other regard: it was a sign of the future in the Drive to the East. Livonia and Prussia were conquerednot by the older methods but by crusades, by crusading orders in particular. The Brothers of the Sword in Livonia and the Teutonic Knights in Prussia were at once the conquerors, baptizers, and settlers of those lands. The Wendish Crusade marked the first time in the German east such a comprehensive task was undertaken.

Nowadays it's really hard to determine which territory belongs to who or better said, who it used to belong to.

there are numerous data that can confirm that a lot of so called `German lands` were Slavic before germanization occured

We don`t even need to go back to antiquity to seek for clear evidences. Records from early Middle age, of complete medieval era after all, are more then enough...

When the twelfth century opened, a new phase was beginning in the Drive to the East.Military expeditions were becoming aggressive campaigns of occupation, and political control was being extended in to exploit the resources of the conquered territory. Before discussion of the factors behind the first phase and the causes of the second, let us turn to the Wends themselves.

It is on the German side that the two phases of the Drive to the East can be seen most plainly. Militarily, the first phase was marked by a stalemate, while in the second the Germans achieved clear tactical and strategic superiority. Politically, in the first phase the Germans sought mainly to make tributaries of the Wends. such as Otto I, also sought to make Christians of them, but there is no indication that he intended to bring them within the Empire. He probably desired only to have them acknowledge dependency in some way, as Henry II did with the Poles. In time the goal became the direct possession of Slavia.

Under these circumstances, the Wends could do little. They could not resist occupation, but neither could they accept it. Raiding brought down upon them the armies of Henry the Lion or Albert the Bear, yet not to raid meant abandoning all hope of recovering from the losses incurred during the invasions, as well as all hope of maintaining tribal customs. since acquiescence meant the death of the tribe, it is small wonder that the Wends resisted long and harl.
