i don't know why a certain part of society feels that its 'cool' to dress like a chav, i've never understood it, do these people really believe they are the mutts nuts. I can understand sports shirts, trackie bottoms and the white trainers to go running or the gym in, on the street and day to day wear??? ppppfffff

this is another silly thread in my opinion, i travel on a lot of public transport and i can tell you the majority of people are not Polish. I live, work and play in England :) There are a lot of smelly people in this country and i can tell you the major majority are not Polish!!!!. It is unfair and unjust to singe out one race, nationality or type of person for having bad personal hygeine. I have come across smelly, Poles, English, Indian, West Indian, Australian, Japanese etc etc.

There is not a particular problem with Polish people and bad hygeine, some people no matter what their nationality, race, religion or background just smell. This could be for a number of reasons, firstly everybody has a different smell and strenght of smell. Some people actually 'sweat' a lot more than others, while other people don't smell or swet much at all. I can promise you that these categories are not based on nationality as seems to be indicated by this thread.

It is total rubbish to say that Poles or any other nationality do not take hygiene seriously or soap dodge!!!!! This is on a level of stupidity with the 'polish girls are the most beautiful in the world' thread!!!!!

When i learn about other countries and their cultures, yes i take in a bit of the history however i think its important to look at the 'modern' state, culture, way of life of that nation. I understand there are unanswered questions but all this history chasing is not good for the soul and surely the investment belongs in the future. Its ok to monitor and maintain but like in business if you get stuck in the past and never move on, you get left behind.

To be honest with OP i find that most polish girls are not that 'funny' at all. I've met a few been in the UK and i can say that i have only met 1 real 'funny' Polish girl. All the others have been way way way to serious and in some cases even insecure and not really bothered about being funny.

Maybe they are funny in Poland, it may just be the difference in humour that i'm not understanding properly. The one girl who i thought was funny actually didn't seem that Polish at all, in fact i used to say to her 'your sense of humour isn't that Polish at all, your more British than you think'

As for getting out and meeting other cultures, you can't point that finger at me, Exeter is one of the most multicultural cities (Small yes) in the UK, as it has a massive student population which draws from all the nations in the world. I don't need to join other forums as i don't do forums as a rule, i do this one because i like it and its different from the usual junk. PF is by now way flawless but its well worth a go :)

To be honest Petrushka it isn't about what he calls the girls its about the trust between yourself and your boyfriend. If you trust each other and make sure you know the boundaries of your relationship then a few names or txt messages should mean nothing. If he tells you it is harmless and you trust him, then go with it. If you don't trust him then its time for action.

When i have been in relationships i have always said to my partner that i'm not really bothered what she says/txts etc to other male friends. As far as i'm concerned i will trust her and visa versa. For this trust to happen i also promised all my partners that if i found there to be something that crossed the line (they had been going behind my back) there would be no talks, not saying your sorry, that would be the end of it. If i'd never found PF........... then....... ummmm............ i don't know really :) not in a bad way but i don't know what effect it has had since i joined. I guess there are some things i have learned on PF that i would not have known otherwise. The best thing is the people here, some of them are awesome :) I'm not a favoured member by any means but i have enjoyed my time as a member of this forum.

I've said it before and i will say it again, i have never been or will be a member of any other online forum!!! PF is the only one that i have stuck with for longer than about three seconds. It is doing something right :):):)
