Love / Are Polish men generally possessive? [51]

that all Polish women are looking for men with money...he was totally shocked to find that I didnt care that he doesnt have much money..

bad experience with one greedy polish woman shouldn't be the reason for saying that.as fisz said there are women all over the world who are after money.

look at me.
i was beautiful but didn't have a lot of money and my wife has chosen me:)

Love / Are Polish men generally possessive? [51]

really or are you joking? My bf says that this is the Polish culture that is so different to English... I wondered whether this was just an excuse to justify that he doesnt like me going out with my friends so much or if it is really true.

i think it only shows that he really cares about you and, maybe, he is a bit.... jealous?:)

Love / Are Polish men generally possessive? [51]

well.my opinion is;if we are together,we go everywhere together otherwise why bother.i know it is completely different to your way of life but it's true-at least for my generation.although i can't say for everyone.

Love / Are Polish men generally possessive? [51]

Is it normal for Polish people to only go out together if they are married or live together and not to go out with their friends seperately? Do all Polish men want their women to be at home most of the time?

in my case yes.we always go out together.if one of us is ill or just don't want to go out we both stay at home.

Quoting: Amathyst, Post #122
I think its wrong that people work illegally and if someone wants to shop them for it, good on them...why the hell should I pay my tax for someone to come over hear to avaid it...

21

and goes for anyone no matter what their nationality is

you are right luv.we should all crack down on crime from the bottom but manser comes on this forum and says that he reported this guys because his girlfriend was polish and he wanted some revenge on other polish because of that.if he reports everyone regardless their nationality, that's fine, i am in too.i pay taxes and everything and don't see the reason why someone else wouldn't pay.

Life / Are Polish People Racist? [1037]

Kasper I do not like your comments....This tell me you are anti semitic like the rest of the 38 million poles who stood by when 6 million jews were put to death

don't get me wrong.i like the jews and support them but saying that poles stood by when 6mln jews were killed is not right.we were under an occupation, everyone feared about their lives and lives of their families.for helping or hiding a jew there was just one kind of penalty-death.you didn't do a lot to free yourself.why there was never any uprising in any concentration camps in poland/europe?imagine 20-30 thousand people running at the guards at the same time.a few dozens would die, maybe few hundreds and the rest would run away.nobody did it.why?because nobody wanted to die.that's why nobody(or not a lot) did anything in poland, france, england, europe.it was tragic but only people to blame are germans.nazis and their supporters(unfortunately the support for nazis in germany was really huge and only few opposed-but it is not politicaly correct to say that nowadays)

Love / Racism and Religion in Polish relationships [209]

‘get over it and move on’

this is exactly what i meant.don't ring the bell of racism, taboos and this kind of stuff cos it is not right.

rich boyfriend

this could be the only way for you to get a proper shagging before you are to old to do that so make sure you save money from now on.

maybe u r not handsome, funny, caring enough?why do you think that she doesn't want to be with you because you have darker skin or belive in different things?

it would be a nice excuse for some ugly, hairy polish man.he would say:"come to my bed you cute english girl if not i'll report you to the police for being racist"

well, maybe in the uk. and I'll let you in on a secret, I actually live between the polish nd ukranian.. hundreds. so okay, maybe you have a point too.

ok,o we were talking about 2 different situations in 2 different countries.

just don't tell me a polish girl of 18 years old at a farm works harder than an ex-military who did nothing but hard work

i've never said that.if you read my previous posts it is quite the opposite.

''polish work harder''

i never said that and do NOT agree with that.it is generalizing.
the only thing got pissed of about is what you said about polish people living like rats in one house.it may happen in holland(where we probably can't work legally and thus earning less money) but not in the uk(or at least it is uncommon).that's it

Work / Xmas gifts for Polish workers? [22]

In Poland, a lot of companies give their employees gift vouchers at Christmas, it keeps everyone happy

in england too.i and my wife got vouchers of 25£ each for this christmas.it is very nice cos you spend this money on what you want

sausage rolls, pork pies, crisps, chocolate nibbles, different types of flavoured biscuits and bottles of pop.

we are not really after this kind of food.i think that a sandwich with ham, cheese would be better than the pies.we love sandwiches and also pizza.biscuits and some chocolate stuff are ok.

UK, Ireland / BEWARE when coming over UK [363]

I'm not really angry about what she said, but it's because more and more people say such things! also, I'm not here for understandment, I merely got sick of that tone about our potential working class. look, I have been reading too you know, and I've seen a lot of polish posters who seem to have the idea we're all rich and spoiled over here. so all I did
was making it very clear it isn't like that at all.

right.this was my point too.

but thank you for perfectly illustrating my point once again.

no problem.this was exactly what i meant.

the competition is unfair.

if it's fair, and all people get payed the same, then you won't hear me.

this is unrealistic.some people get 5.35£/hour here others 9£/hour but belive me i know a lot of polish people in the uk and can tell you they get paid exactly the same money as the english workers.

no it's not their choice. but do you think 65 pound is a lot

it is a lot.it is even worse if it's a couple.
65£+65£ a week gives you 130£ times four=520£ a month just for a room. i thin it is about 700 euro.

like me CAN'T do such things

why not.if you are single, rent a room and you also can save a lot of money.

some of the polish rent their own spaces

not some, arien-most of them.
it used to be like that in 2004 when people started coming to the uk but the situation has changed dramaticly in the last 2 years.i guess i know over hundred polish people here and ALL of them rent their own rooms/flats/houses.some of this people share their places with others but usually it's 4 people in a 2 bedroom flat/house.

UK, Ireland / BEWARE when coming over UK [363]

To the person who says that they have never met a graduate on the shop-floor, I'm a grdauate truck-driver........by choice......but I haven't always done that.

i wasn't referring to you.i meant that the english university graduates never work in factories as production operatives but usually go much higher(managment ect).most of the people who work on a line are uneducated so compering them to the poles in such a factory, who mostly are young,open-minded,educated and who now that the only way up is to work harder than others, is not fair and doesn't make any sense.

i do apologize for calling you"she". dulciana sounds like a girl's name:)

UK, Ireland / BEWARE when coming over UK [363]

the polish here, tend to sleep in a bungalow with 20 people. they work shifts of 8 hours in most cases. one group works in the morning, one group works in the evening. they pay a small amount of rent. they are almost the half cheaper as I am.

arien. i can understand why you got angry about what dulciana said but just to some extent.
i know it is not fair to compare polish people, say,in a factory in the uk,to their british partners.why?because a lot of young poles in the uk are well educated ,intelligent,a lot of them university graduates ect.english factory workers?well i am still to meet an english univeristy graduate in my factory.so what's the point in comparing those 2 different group of people?

we would have to compare REAL polish FACTORY workers with english FACTORY workers.i bet that they are pretty the same.
however i don't understand why you just copy and paste this **** about 20 poles living together in one house?this is rubbish!
the only people who i know to live in a big group in one house are those who are employed by employment agencies and it is uncommon.and guess what?those people don't save money because of that.they are charged 65£ for a BED and live 3 in each room.do you think it's their choice?

those who find a place on their own are replaced very quickly by others and the story continious.who's faul is it?all the poles(i know a lot!!!) i know live on their own renting a room or a flat/house some share flats with others (usually a couple+ another couple).

i reckon that this is a common practice among the brits too.what's wrong about that?
