right as usual S, but dont you get bored of saying the same thing over and over...?
if britain does have the polish gold reserve, giving it back would be the gentlemanly thing to do
but british gentlemen tend to spend gold on the finer things in life, perhaps we could come to some sort of deal, give poland the millennium dome or something
I will go to the museum again and look at what is written on each picture, truth be known I actually went there to see a Salvidor Dali exhibition. And I took these photos with my phone.
I am still unsure, because of the amount of replies, if they are from the Nazis, communist or Poland, perhaps all three? we will see.
The first picture, England being blamed could be.
A) Not having entered the war quickly enough, to cut collaboration with them from the Nazis or commies. B) After the war, England signing the secret treaty which effectively meant that Poland became Eastern Block, again perhaps by the Nazis or the Poles.
C)England not giving back the Gold that belonged to Poland, therefore the poster could be by the Poles or the commies.
Which kind of leaves me almost exactly where I started off, although I did not know about the gold.
MOTHER SERBIA, THEY'RE PUSHING YOU INTO DEATH, BUT FOR THEMSELVES SAKE!
WHY? (Belgrade was bombed by Anglo-American air forces on April 16 and 17, 1944, which was Orthodox Easter Day.)
MAY YOUR MOTHER'S MILK POISON YOU WHEN YOU HAVE FAITH IN THE ENGLISH! LOOK AND NEVER FORGET!

DEEDS AND WORDS One English Drama
1940 "We have the best tanks, the best planes and the best cannons." ---> Dunkirk
1941 "We have the best tanks, the best planes and the best cannons." ---> Greece
1942 "We have the best tanks, the best planes and the best cannons." ---> Tobruk
... America will now produce so much armored vehicles, planes and cannons,... that we next year won't know what to do with them...and most of them we'll send underwater, because the danger there from submarines is most frequent.
For the defeat, and maybe to break the nation's spirit. I saw once a German poster in French (in former KZ Gross-Rosen/Rogoznica) depicting Polish officer (although the eagle on his czapka was conveniently blurred) being murdered in Katyn by bolshevik monsters . In this case it was rather to attract French (who were in good relations with Poland) to German 'crusade' against USSR.
I always liked the Russian communist propaganda, the style of it (I forget the name of the style??) Very strong very powerful
Note that here Soviets are put in one line with Western Allies.
Are you sure? and about what were they blaming England?
Yes. It was printed after the September campaign. It was to prevent Polish soldiers joining the allies against Germany. England was depicted here as a traitor, and thus as untrustworthy ally, guilty of the misery inflicted by Poland in 1939.
They are really interesting Crnogorac7, the psychological tricks used to make one side right or wrong, big or small, really fascinating stuff. I see a lot of these are anti communist and pro German, so was this Nazi propaganda in Serbia? Stunning imagery, really stunning.
I did not think he was making facts, just showing us something interesting. I have not read Crnogorac7 posts on this topic, so maybe that is something else but as propaganda posters they are wonderful but that does not mean I agree to them, i just find them interesting.
I don't understand you McCoy. We fought against Nazis and we were sold for Soviets after the war. Our Gold has been confiscated. Many people died in Soviet gulags. It is truth. Katyń happened. Sikorski has been murdered.
That does not fit in with the rest, it looks Asian to me, it looks strange to me in this context. I will assume it is either a doctored version of a previously existing picture or that they wanted something that did not like the other forms of propaganda?

mhm, but what exacly are you talking about ?
That does not fit in with the rest, the whole Asian samurai thing looks strange to me in this context. I will assume it is either a doctored version of a previously existing picture or that they wanted something that did not like the other forms of propaganda?
i found it about month ago, somewhere on the net and now i put it here cause it's definitely a propaganda poster. i don't know anything about where it comes from and who was the target of the propaganda. maybe you can tell me?
Communist Poster about "AK" - Home Army, in 1944 soldiers of home army were persecuted by Soviets.
All those who were able to fight for freedom were dangerous for system. People who fought gINAT Nazis were first to kill by Soviets because they were considered able to fight agains totalitarian systems.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_Army
The Armia Krajowa (the Home Army, literally translated as the Country's Army), abbreviated "AK", was the dominant Polish resistance movement in World War II German-occupied Poland. It was formed in February 1942 from the Związek Walki Zbrojnej (Union for Armed Struggle) and over the next two years absorbed most other Polish underground forces. It was loyal to the Polish government in exile and constituted the armed wing of what became known as the "Polish Underground State". Estimates of its membership in 1944 range from 200,000 to 600,000, with the most common number being 400,000; that figure would make it not only the largest Polish underground resistance movement but among the two largest in Europe during World War II.
