Poland-Russia: never-ending story?

To give you picture

Serbian calculations are simple with Russians- or you (Russians) would help to all Serbs (Lusatian- Catholic and Protestant, Balkan- Orthodox and Catholic) or we would extinct waiting that you come. Then, you would be alone in this hostile world

Magic of all this is that Russia need fifth element to found strenght to finaly do something right for Slavic world, for Europe after all, for Christianity.

For any progress in their task, Russians would need support from Catholic Poland. When they offer hand for cooperation ball would be on Poland. For sure, Poland wouldn`t have a choice but, Poland would also beat her fears and prejudices. So, when kin nations, two Slavic powers- Poland and Russia combine efforts, for good of whole Slavdom fifth element (love, pure good) would be extracted and all those hostile nations who profit on Slavic blood and disasters would retreated and will be balance and peace in Europe/World.

How long have you been panslavist ?... ;P I just think that it can never happen. Imagine a pan-germanism : a union with Germany, England, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and so on...today, how do you think it's possible ! People fought twice last century, and died twice as well. Many lives were lost, and now that all this sh*t is done, you think people will simply forget what happened and happily join an utopian union...

You know what ? We should stop creating communities because all differences lead to conflicts (as long as men are so stupid), so the only union that could be helpful in this d*mn world is a union of ALL countries ! That's all i can see where we could benefit something... ;)

well said that man,racial unions,what piffel,the sort of crap that leads to death squads and labour camps and worst of all silly homo erotic uniforms and shiney black boots,the worlds sick of that crap,I would have thought someone from a country decimated by that sort of bullcrap would have more sense.

Look, protagonist of EU, suggest that we forget on negative examples from past... etc, multiculturalism, tolerance, human rights (believe me they aren`t serious, they just manipulate with those phrases for conquest)

Now, all those phrases are available when we speak about possible Slavic Union, too. Just not only as phrases with double standards (empty words). We need that those things realy work and if we are capable to beat our prejudices, fears, night mares... if we are tolerant enough, if we aren`t racists on sub-racial level (then we also won`t be racists when think about other races), if we are multicultural and understand that all people has their rights, if we understand that Slavs are diversed because we live on a huge territory for thousends of years, if we know how our culture is great, how beautiful are Slavic languages, how interesting fact is our diversed approaches on Christianity... we would find that we are all good Pan-Slavists.

Did you ever think that way? How could one Pole be open and modern by all standards if isn`t capable to forgive and understand Russian (and opposite of course). Its a chalange bigger then forgive to German because biggest wounds/scars are those that your brother made on you.

In many occations, thru meny discussions, I found that I`m more open (Serbs in general) then many other people and, in fact that Serbs are much in front of era in which we live. That is tragic truth about Serbs. Reason for that, well... I think its about that strong colective memory in neo-cortex (because of constant sufferings in history), that Slavs were one. We Serbs can`t understand that our civilization need to extinct, no matter that others for their prosperity need to consume Slavic world (they don`t, but they think that way).

If you think that all you said is great, so let's think that, but such a union will never happen, do you really think that minds can change so easily ?

If we want to live in a better world, we have to work all hands in hands, not giving a f*ck whose hand it is, we are all the same, with common and different histories, but at then end we are all the same : we suffer from the same pains, we are happy for the same reasons, we all bleed the same, so "races" don't really matter to me. I don't want to choose my friends : if they are German or Russian, Italian or Norwegian, Arab or Chinese, WTF we are all the same, aren't we ?! So let's live together peacefully and free with no unions to make things more difficult than they already are. ;)

You see, you just explained that EU won`t work

... and in chaos that will happen after that project for conquest fail, in agony, we- Slavs would found each others. So, you see, for now, we only need to talk and to talk and to talk and, to remember that we aren`t alone (and that those who are hostile on us see that). Then, when the moment come, will be some closer cooperation, alliance, unity... (call it as you wish) or as Slavs we wont` survive. If it isn`t importante that we survive as Slavs, then never mind, this Earth would continue to rotate arround Sun even without us.

But, before you say AMEN for our world, I would remind you that Germans, no matter Catholic or Protestant, Brits and others don`t even think to say AMIN for their civilization. Not to mention us- Serbs!

The EU is the result of all the conflicts of last centuries. We needed to act in order to keep a peaceful continent and world, to work together (as i said), to build together, no matter where we are from, and to make our life better. It's working, the EU is rich and powerful in the world, but each countries are independant. We are Polish, English, French, German before being European. Being French i'm not considering myself as part of a Latin world. I'm part Polish though, but it doesn't matter. I'm proud of being French, i'm proud of being Polish, i'm proud of being European ! ;) Neither Slavs nor Latins in my thoughts now... ;)

Hem, i am very sad that you didnt feel any irony in my words, sure I dont have any signs of hate or abhorrence toward Poles...Yes, may be I dont like Polish government and don't understant some facts of Polish self-conceit, but this characters may serve only as base for friendly wrangle and no more...So, I LOVE POLES VERY MUCH!!! Because they are so differed from us, Russians, and i have a feel of keen interest and excitement, when i have any opportunity to conversate with this curious peoples!!!

Ha-ha no-no it's a really nevere ending story, it's like universe

Please, religion is something private.

After all, we live in modern time and religion even isn`t constant/absolute cathegory today. i mean, one can be (to say that way) born in one religion and during his life can accepted some other and then die as believer of some other Church, religious system, philosophy, etc. etc.

So, there is no need that religion divide Slavs when our great heritage in general and spirituality connects us.

Well it is only our suggestion that we live in the modern world, but human nature is constant in any times, and we are still divided by religions and actually even more than in the times of East-West schism 1054 or in the times of Patriarh Photios I. And even such passionate persons like Cardinal Humbertus and Patriarch Michael Cerularius might shed a tearover us.
