"eyewitness accounts"

Oh so now we are listening to "eye witnesses" on facts? PLEASE. I am not convinced of anything until it is proven true. These so called "eye witneses" can be exagerateing things. Point being people have brought forth questions and facts on the holocaust in places like germany and have been muzzled and thrown in jail for simply questioning the topic.

"your misguided hate-filled young mind"

Speak for yourself nobody is spewing hatred and foul language here but you. I am by no means young and much wiser then you.

So again since you are so smart and wise to the topic. There is a list for you to debunk and debate. But as shown you know nothing and only hold the mighty shalom as a sheild. If you have evidence of 6 million please show it. Save the stalinlist show trial for a person who cares.

Oh so now we are listening to "eye witnesses" on facts? PLEASE.

This statement proves your wisdom I bow down to your superior intellect Eyewitnesses are incredibly unreliable. I agree even when I see something I wait 50 years to question if it really happened and trust the Iranian Government to confirm it for me.

Why debunk and debate something my Polish family lived through?
Are You Polish did your grandfather live in Poland during the war?

I am by no means young and much wiser then you.

I apologize but your writings are sophmoric so I gave you the benefit of the doubt I thought only a poisoned young mind could believe this kind of fabrication.

Oh and by the way your people also killed jesus.

Kruk, are you stating Poles killed Jesus?? This was done through Jewish intervention.

I'm having trouble following your train- are you saying the H. never existed or are you espousing Jewish extermination?

On a lighter note, simmer down boys- go to Funny pics and have a laugh at "White Power" titled "Oops my scalpel slipped" I posted.

Regards, EuropeAwake.

Kruk, are you stating Poles killed Jesus??

No!!!!!!! Europe Awake said

Oh and by the way your people also killed jesus.

He thinks because I DO NOT espouse killing Jews I am Jewish. I am Polish-American and Protestant (raised) EuropeAwake denies the Holocaust and he is also much wiser than me because he taught me not to rely on eyewitness accounts to confirm the holocaust actually happened. so today I asked my wifes Babcia (who lived through it in Poland) If the holocaust really happened, and when she said yes it happened I asked her if she confirmed it with the Iranian government., and the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, as EuropeAwake taught me these are the best sources for Holocaust information.

Frank: What is your problem? Why do you attack the Polish people for anti-Jewish sentiments when you ignore the people of Germany, France, Russia, and other European countries. Poland was the first country in Europe to welcome Jews when other countries burned them at the stake during the middle ages...read your history!!!

Fact: Poland was the only country under German occupation which had a death sentence on any Pole who helped a Jew... yet Poland was the country with the most rescuers of Jewish people during the war.

How can you compare Ireland to Poland when Ireland was not attacked and controlled by Germany? You seem to be anti-Polish no matter what the answer is...with no facts to back up your accusations!

Polisham.......it wasn't so much accusatory and yes I acknowledge that lots of Polish people did heroic things for the Jewish population........this is a board about Poland.......hence the question.

I want to understnad.......what happened, attitudes etc as per the post several months ago..., you accuse me of being antiPolish, yet I have visted your country several times and have given employment to several of your countrymen.......anti-Polish......no...why do people jump to conclusions?

Poland was the first country in Europe to welcome Jews when other countries burned them at the stake during the middle ages...read your history!!!

Not sure about the first part of this.....wasn't this welcome to other faiths too?

Secondly all over Europe people of many faiths were burnt at the stake...more history readings?...:)

Just going back over a few posts on the first page.....quote from Babylon below.....

"What sick person you are? Typical thinking about "polish antisemitic".""...this is were I was mis understood...what I meant was, was the history of Jews in Poland being taught to in school acknowledging anti-semitiscm at any stage in Poland ....not that anti-semitiscm was being taught now!!!

This is an answer from Gregorscz on page two....who states he is Polish....

"If you ask If there was anti-semitism in Poland, the answer can't be other than yes,""

This is from Aniah.......she doesnt say where she is from.....

"And to this I would add: has anyone ever known a poor Jew?""....I think you'll find more than one poor Jew in the world..........as an entry point for Jews into the UK in the East end of London, there were thousands of poor Jews living, scraping a meagre living just like the local English......another myth.

This from Greg again.............

"but after PiƂsudski died in 1935 and quite radical politicians took over the government there were even a few anti-semitic laws passed,"...was wiondering because of what was going on in Germany or Europe generally or just in Poland?

How can you compare Ireland to Poland when Ireland was not attacked and controlled by Germany? You seem to be anti-Polish no matter what the answer is...with no facts to back up your accusations!

I didn't compare Ireland......again...back to first post...only ever wanted to get views opinions......not here to condemn, or belittle Poland......I now know more.....but not it all.....:)

Tell my wife’s grandmother that who was in Majdanek (lublin) for 2 years and stood in a queue every morning, and THEN the German guard would walk behind them counting and when he tapped on their shoulder, depending on his mood, if they were lucky they were shot and then burned. If they were unlucky they were drowned in the cesspit or hung and then burned some still alive. These were Polish and Jewish people; there was no distinction once you were in there. Don’t you dare have the balls to come in here and hide behind some stupid name, and try to change history as most of small-minded idiots do. Have you ever visited a death camp and walked into the gas chambers and seen the green stains of gas in the walls, have you ever seen the scratches of human fingernails on the walls? Well I have and I am thankful it is there, because it reminds me that never again will we accept pathetic minorities like you.

Uk...I can only but echo your sentiments......however as we have seen even in Europe in the last 10 years, the instinct to destroy/commit genocide on your enemies etc......is still very strong...

We have to be vigilant.

This is an answer from Gregorscz

This is me probably...

Frank, obviously there was anti-semitism in Poland, just like there is anti-Polonism in Ireland now... It's not possible to avoid such feelings, when there is a large unassimilated minority in some country.

I don't agree...............there is not a general feeling of ill will or a feeling of superiorty towards our migrant EU guests......nor will we legislate against them....nor deny them!!

Yes there are a**holes........as in ALL societies.........am sure there are few anti Irish people in Poland.........but not a campaign or laws against them.

Feel free to apologise G.........:)

You should see young Jews on March of Living in Auschwitz. I am talking about their behavior. Their grandparents have told them that in Poland everybody is anti-semitic. So they come to Poland and when nobody acts like anti-semite they provoke young Poles by calling names, so they can return home and confirm that in Poland jews eaters are still living. True story.

why would you think that? Do you really think that people think like you in Poland.
I have many friends and family neighbours and I have never heard such a thing.
Grzegorz, not everybody is against other nationalities and people who are different.
A lot of Poles /Irish are just too busy enjoying their life and working to waste their energy on such thinking:)
I hope you will find a wolrd a little more friendly one day:)

This is an "intresting" video.. should give us some insight lol.. For those who don't understand Polish, this particular man doesn't like Jews too much.

This is an "intresting" video

This is not a proof for anti-semitism in Poland. He is simply frustrated. In polish slang to call somebody “jewish” also means not trustworthy. But you know what? People talking on streets like this all around the world. Even in USA. Another true story.

Is this acceptable? Pig also means an animal but you would get upset if I called you one

I didn't say it was, I just found this an intresting funny video. The view of one man cannot represent the one of a nation.

As far as the meaning of the word Jew (jew) I'm aware of it, but this particular man doesn't use it in that context.

Cheers.

Maybe. But I also know what Jews are talking about Palestinians and whole Arab world.

Is this acceptable?

I don’t know abort genesis of this saying, but I think people have had their reasons to start talking like this.

genesis

go figure indeed that Jews and Christians both subscribe to this book in there religions. The old testament of christians is the core basis of judaism.

So it can confound me sometimes to the divisions.

I don't agree...............there is not a general feeling of ill will or a feeling of superiorty towards our migrant EU guests......nor will we legislate against them....nor deny them!!

Come on... I wasn't saying about any general feelings... Simply there are many Poles in Ireland, so many more people don't like Poles than let's say 20 years ago when you could hardly find any in the whole country...

You "don't egislate against them" because you need them to do ****** jobs and because in 21th century that's rather impossible... In UK there's a party, which calls to kick Polish immigrants out (and in France a guy, who wanted to kick out all immigrants got into the final round of the presidential elections a few years ago) one serious economical crisis and they will get into the government.

Do you really think that people think like you in Poland.
I have many friends and family neighbours and I have never heard such a thing.

but not in Ireland, by and large the general public WELCOME them :)

by and large the general public WELCOME them :)

But If they will make 10% of the whole population, won't assimilate for the next 100 years + serious economical problems the general attitude will change, no doubt about It...

Lets just say im not as pessimistic about it - I live here and see a different picture to you entirely, Back on topic Jews and their POLISH experiences

approximately what is the %population of Polish people who are jewish out of curiosity?
sparrow 2 | 243
6 May 2007 /  #207
I don't know how much % has Jewish heritage, such as a Jewish surname. But as far as religion it's less than 0,3% of the population

cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/pl.html

It's used to be much more before 2nd WW, after that those who survived moved to Israel/USA

Thanks Sparrow, So i guess synagogues are not highly visable as catholic churches?
Here in Cork there is one small Jewish synagoge but you'd miss it if you blinked.
sparrow 2 | 243
6 May 2007 /  #209
They are but mainly because of historic reasons. Since they were there before the 2nd WW, lots of them aren't used or stay empty. Some are really nice architectural pieces of art.

But Poland is so catholic.. it's hard not to see a church..

Also, some communities abroad, such as Jews tend to live in close knitted comunities so you might only see the synagogues in you venture in certain Jewish neighbourhoods. :)

Sparrow....could you remove the video...its an English speaking board.....90% don't understand him anyways.....and racist views are all too easy to find and denigrating to those people of that faith, ethnic background.
