Well, so maybe some polish radio programs are up to snuff saying that Poland is ruled by Jews and why would they care to keep young polish people there or to make Poland powerful...? Hmm

I dismissed the "news" as some jewish hating propaganda...but...Hmm, again... :(

There are persons who divides people into Jews and noJews, catolics and no-catoliks.
...Other divide is into just stupid and nostupid...

It seems to me that if Polish people really believe that Jews run the world or possibly that Jews run their country, then that doesn't speak well of the Polish people.

I would never let anyone run my life. I don't suppose that any Pole would allow anyone to run their lives either.

Jewish people place great importance in education. That may be the primary reason they are so successful. Perhaps if more Poles and any other nationality were to place more emphisis on higher education the world would be a much better place.

People who would denigrate another nationality are what I refer to as "Little People." By that I mean "Little People", thinking "Little Thoughts" with "little Minds."

Ummmm, maybe they changed their Jewish sounding names to Polish sounding ones because then, just as now, there seems to be much anti-Jewish sentiment in Poland?

And they were subject to Pogroms and Aktions everywhere else they went, at all times, so by using a non-Jewish name they were not as open to aggressive action toward them. Safety came first, I'd bet.

At other times, only non-Jews could have title to their own homes, bank accounts and cars, or businesses, so perhaps, some did it then, to hold on to what they had worked so hard for, so their children wouldn't starve.

And many changed their names because they could not study at state institutions if they were Jewish, or go to public school, or get a ration card, or vote. Or get into a hospital and get medical care. etc etc etc

There were many, many reasons WHY they did it.

What I want to know is WHY was the list posted to begin with. I keep seeing this type of thing posted here over and over. Is it really this bad over there, still, re: anti-semitism?

No I'm not a "antisemitic" i'm "antijudaism" - it is different, by calling someone "antisemitic" we are thinking he's the same ************ as Hitler> >Antisemitic< is a weapon, I don't want to kill them. I just don't agree that in Poland "Radio Maryja", "TRWAM" and Polish Church is attacking all the time by newspapers like Gazeta Wyborcza, and NIE (owned by Polish-Jews) and that the most popular Televisions are projudaism like NATIONAL POLISH TV, TVN, POLSAT and others - the historical word "Antisemitic" is a ban for Polish Church and Polish Nation that should still be "CHRISTIAN" and not like in FRANCE anti-christian.

This TVs, MEDIA raised second polish generation, and everyone call TRWAM a "antisemitic" means historical events not that Church want to defend its position. The so-called "Antisemitic" that Judeochristian civilization (NOT CHRISTIAN CIVILIZATION] want to add to Polish Peoples is obvious cuz its good for them.

Parents of this message:
Anti-Semitism

'AntiSemitism', as a opposed to 'antiJudaism', is generally used to denote an hostility to Jews on the grounds of their 'race' (whatever that term may mean at the time) rather than exclusively on the grounds of their religion.

That, at any rate, is how the term is usually defined.

The Nazis, for instance, were 'antiSemitic' rather than merely 'antiJudaic': for them Jewishness was a matter of descent, rather than practice.

I hope that clears things up a little.

Your language is, as ever, silver tongued.

This has NOTHING to do with Jews. Everyday are Jews just like Muslims, Christians and so on suffering because some people in their comminities install wickedness, sickness and extrimism. Like Zionism

This is an except from a other website, quote:
"
What we have to realize is that the 'Designers' of this well developing WW3 conflict and WW1+2 and the wars before and between has been filling mostly same patterns except for 1 strange thing: It is a wellknown fact that we don't accept failure nor do we declare "mission accomplished" until one of the sides have stopped fighting, don't get me wrong here, wars should never been started in the first place or in worst case work a solution asap and make a benefetical agreement for both nation's pop.(not both politicians, but it's pop.

Except from a interview: "Wywiad przeprowadzony przez Hanne Krall - Hajka Rejchgold do wybiórczego opublikowania w tygodniku "POLITYKA" w 1981 roku"

Similar to the ULTRA paranoid attitude towards antisemitism, ithink i'll start a set of organazations watching anti-europeism :)

I am fascinated by many people who say poland is run by Jews please show me evidence! I somehow doubt it if you were to live here as I do Poland is far too inefficient and illogically run to be run by jews. Its a stereotype but Jewish people are usually better at business and far more tolerant of other people than i see here and If Poland is run by jews SO WHAT!!!!!! But why are there so many churches and about 10 synagogues? And Why do my fellow Poles insist on apearing like idiots with this terribly outdated morally wrong and plain ignorant view of the world remember the man who destroyed Poland and murdered millions of Poles both Jewish and Catholic used the same anti-semitism to control and almost rule Europe. Or if you hide your hatred and call it Anti-judaism it amounts to the same thing your refusing to accept responsibility for yourself and for the problems of Poland. Poland can become great again and it will, as soon as the generation of nit-wits, anti-semites, and petty name callers are all dead and the new blood who are tolerant educated, beautiful inside and out can finally move Poland out of the dark ages and into the 21st century. And we will!!!!! I think Hitler accomplished far more than he realised as most of the Polish people with brainsand heart true Polish heart were killed and he left the idiots to squabble over who is more oppressed.

Why aren't Polish people generally very tolerant of others?
TheKruk  3 | 308

Because they have very little interaction with anyone other than other Poles.
Many hate Jews who have never even met one. But they will be the first to say Roman Polanski is Polish and i don't know if he is a practising Jew but his background is Jewish he was born in the jewish section of krakow. In all fairness its mostly the uneducated but I have been shocked by the racist comments of some highly educated Poles as well.

It is getting better but still a generation away from any real change. But most countries have large pockets of racism so am not just picking on Poland nor saying it is the worst but perhaps it is because Poland is such a homogeneous nation(if I spelt it right)

you know no other ethnic groups of any size as in most other countries.

So what? Jews all over europe changed their names! They had to! Anti-semitism was very common throughout european history.

Why aren't Polish people generally very tolerant of others?

Intolerance/racism exists all over europe. Jews in PL, "Pakis" in the UK. Poland, UK, it's all the same.

Roman Polanski is controversial because he's been charched in a rape case and is not allowed in the USA, yet he is valued in Poland and all over the world for his work. I don't think that he is a good example:)

As for Polish people not being exposed to others, I would have to agree with you on that.

It would be interesting to see what will happen in the future.
