Jewish belongings

I allways wonderd if Polish peopole even this days are fineding some jewish stuff (like picturs, candel holders,books, and so on) in apartaments where jews yoused to live ...or in basements... becoas I know that when the jews went to Auschwitz or other camps, they left there hous's like they were and took hardly nothing with them.

in the other hand russian took big farms and big houses from polish people in Lviv Stanislwov ...Lithuania,Ukraina Bealarus now..

Poland was totaly destroid after war only few cites didn't need to be rebuild... during 5 years of ocupation jewish house was taken mainly by Germans because they where well siutable... and thay simply burn everything what wasn't valuable if thay don't than red army came and take everything not only jewish but also polish....

Lets try think a little.

Germans solds goods that they takes from Jews, and some Poles used to buy some.

Theres no many Jewish things all around here in Poland, but someone may have some like other antiques. And who knows what some Jews had in their homes, you never known.

But many polish Jews were real poor so the dont even had any goods that somebody could take.

Real precious things were taken by the Germans, and also Germans lives Jews houses so of course they destroy most of these small things.

And then again many of importatnt things were also transported with Rich Jews who had money and connections with all over the wrold.

I was watching a documentary a couple of weeks ago and when the war broke out
alot of priceless stuff was shipped to the United states.. Fort knox..

even the queens jewels came over for a short time.. that was a smart move
on her part..
