Again, the point needs to be made. The Serbian administration, under Slobodan Milosevic, was heavy-handed and downright evil at times. But, that was the government. I'm sure that Serbian people are decent and fair. I prefer not to see divisions between the Balkan states. I'd like to meet Croats and Serbs. Their respective languages sound nice and I'm sure there'd be plenty to discuss with them.

Yes they are really very powerful indeed. Provided that they're faced by unarmed civilians or farmers armed with shotguns or have a numerical advantage of at least 100 to 1. Once they face a properly equipped and trained modern army, they run like the cowards they are.

Give them a mortar and tell them to attack a crowded marketplace and they're only too happy to do so. Give them guns and tell them to shoot thousands of unarmed civilians and they'll get shooting immediately. Give them a box of condoms and tell them to get raping and they'll just hand the condoms back before getting stuck in to the women and girls. Give them equal training and equipment to their oppponents and just watch the dust trail they kick up as they get as far away as fast as possible. Really respected warriors.

we dont hear enoug of statments like this. Thats a good start, when the nazis slaughtered the pitiful polish military attempts to prevent them from conquering poland, we stepped in.

Are you for real? Polish military that fought from start to end and all fronts. If you read up on history you might learn of the fight Polish put up against the odds, that is while waiting for their allies to come help as aggreed.

The polish infantry was consistantly annihilated by the german offensive, post 1939 the only polish efforts that contributed to the allies war on germany was the polish resistance and a handful of crack pilots flying in the raf.

The Poles are great fighters noimmigration. Whether it be Grom, the army or any other division, they have strength in depth. They are no cowards and as a Scot u should applaud this.

Poland battled much longer than France which was supposed to have the best military in the world at the time. Poles did all they could and more. Comparing our military to Germany's heading into the war is ridiculous

The problem was the Poles never believed that before 1939.
Highest VIP's bragged "In one week in Berlin" etc...
One even spouting "Germany can't avoid war even if she wanted to!"
(Said person had to flee at foot to Romania after the Wehrmacht came if I remember correctly)
We all know how annoying a Pole can be and utterly estranged from reality!

And of course they counted on France and GB to help them out if the pushes came to shove.

By telling "us" they would fight the Germans to a halt and give "us" months to mobilise ......D'oh!
