davidpeake 14 | 451 3 May 2007 / #1Poland has had numerous previous constitutional acts during its long history. Historically most significant is probably the May Constitution adopted on 3rd May of 1791, claimed to be the first modern constitution of Europe. The second one in the world.
telefonitika 3 May 2007 / #3What happens on this particular day in Poland then? Anything or is it similar to our bank holidays here in the UK?

Wroclaw 44 | 5,369 3 May 2007 / #8You KNOW how much I LOVE them!I'll wave to them, and that wave will be from you, OK.I saw them last year and it rained so much that some people left early. I was hiding under an umbrella with about six other blokes. Don't you just love open-air gigs.
shopgirl 6 | 928 3 May 2007 / #9I was hiding under an umbrella with about six other blokes.I would happily stand in the rain and under threat of lightning....it would not matter :)I'd get a boat if it begain to flood! Nothing would make me go :)But I hope it doesn't rain on you tomorrow! Enjoy it for me! Tell Artur I love him!:D

Pawelek - | 11 3 May 2007 / #13Right mate !!That's the fact almost no one knows! This is actually a fairly big deal in Chicago. There is a parade starting at 11:30 a.m. downtown at Columbus and Balboa for anyone in the area who is interested. The parade typically draws around 250,000 spectators, including many celebrating Poles.
Wroclaw 44 | 5,369 3 May 2007 / #14Ah memories of Glastonbury Festival....I spent three weekends at gigs last year and it pi$$ed down at each of them.By the way. Whoever is playing across the road sound good. If I don't like the music I just close the window.Never been to Glastonbury, I'm a Knebworth man.
